…ima hearing that’s a “mild concern”It could just be a resort benefit. They need people in hotel rooms right now.

…well only if you goMY TIME HAS COME!!!
Disney's said 2024 for the next round of changes.
…well only if you go
No worries, the “advance purchase option” will likely come in far higher than the day-of purchase option, because GUESTS DEMAND IT! Honestly, I’d expect this to be far more expensive, with at least a 20-30% premium over the most expensive day (think $50/day as a starting point).Frankly this is a bit dissapointing - if I'm going to have to pay for it I'd rather be able to pay in advance and budget for it versus randomly getting hit for a different amount each morning.
“It looks as though Disney is attempting to increase Genie+ uptake among guests at EPCOT and Disney's Animal Kingdom, that may have previously thought that Genie+ was not worth the cost. Offering a lower price at those parks may tempt more guests to purchase Genie+.”New Disney Genie+ pricing structure goes into effect at Walt Disney World

My guess is you will be able to book your first LL each day ahead of time. The rest will continue to work as it does now. You think it's bad now with many LL running out now, imagine what would happen if you let guests book 3 a day ahead of time. There would nothing left. Was it? Those guests could at least plan ahead their park day/path more easily. I know I did.
There are multiple issues. I’m not sure of the best way to solve them, but they are good about fixing one thing and making another worse
Purchasing and booking 1 ahead of time each day (prior to vacation) and being able to select the time you want to me would help G+My guess is you will be able to book your first LL each day ahead of time. It was wrecked prior…that’s math again…Purchasing and booking 1 ahead of time each day (prior to vacation) and being able to select the time you want to me would help G+
One issue however is still the 7am ILL sprint and always expecting the weather to cooperate
Yep I remember the tiers. It was interesting how they did that and definitely an attempt to get people to book “other” lesser attractions instead of all the popular onesBut that’s how they squeeze more

I think I might be the only one who remembers the “tiers”?
Tiers were an admission they didn’t have enough capacity in the parks…certainly not enough for any pre booking system.
There is no flexibility…which is why it didn’t work and is gone
This is more Iger crap…it doesn’t work…so keep doubling down.
Buying it in advance would at least lock in the price. If it ended up being less than that price on the day though, there would be some unhappy guests. So my guess is it would be priced at a lower price point than the normal daily price for the time of year.No worries, the “advance purchase option” will likely come in far higher than the day-of purchase option, because GUESTS DEMAND IT! If it was restricted to resort guests then that would mean fewer being pre-booked than with FP+My guess is you will be able to book your first LL each day ahead of time. Disney resort guests could book FP+ 60 days in advance while offsite was 30. So they had an advantage there tooIf it was restricted to resort guests then that would mean fewer being pre-booked than with FP+
And they could also tier it according to Resort category.
I think if they do have pre-booking it would be before your stay starts. How far ahead is another question but I would think it would be at least on check-in day for length of stay, if not before. One day ahead of time is still almost as annoying as the day of at 7AM.
Can't wait to miss my next day G+ LL window because I'm on Guardians of the Galaxy and miss out on SDD.
It needs to be 15 days or more imo. Some people take longer vacations than othersI think if they do have pre-booking it would be before your stay starts. How far ahead is another question but I would think it would be at least on check-in day for length of stay, if not before.
No…That’s “counter Disney intuitive”…Buying it in advance would at least lock in the price. If it ended up being less than that price on the day though, there would be some unhappy guests. So my guess is it would be priced at a lower price point than the normal daily price for the time of year.

Both result in a mess.It needs to be 15 days or more imo. Some people take longer vacations than others
Prebooking 1 might work better than 3. We’ll see I guess. Regardless, Disney can fix all of this by expanding attractions at all parks rather than just replacing existing ones or taking 5 years to complete one. Both result in a mess.
It’s about capacity and how that manifests each hour/day.
Prebooks didn’t work. So let’s go ahead and try to run through the wall again, eh?
I don’t actually see how that would play out that way…“It looks as though Disney is attempting to increase Genie+ uptake among guests at EPCOT and Disney's Animal Kingdom, that may have previously thought that Genie+ was not worth the cost. Offering a lower price at those parks may tempt more guests to purchase Genie+.”
Winner winner chicken dinner. Nailed it. Truer words have rarely been spoken/written.
Of course, the realistic price point, at least for me, is $0.
