It issue with the wait times has to do with them making changes to block out third party apps from using Genie+
Which has somehow blocked out their own app.

Something not shocking from their IT.

At this point, rolling out something developed wholly in-house that works like it's supposed to would be off-brand for them.

Blocking the third party apps is probably a good thing long term. As more people use them it will get more and more difficult to get decent or any return times without them.
IMO they also need to limit the amount of attractions you can stack at a time. I think the max number of LLs you can hold at one time is 2.

Why though? What problem does it cause? Unless you are using the term differently than I am thinking.

We stack whenever we get G+ for later in the day. That generally means we get less use out of it than people who are actively going from ride to ride because our timer to book the next ride is never reset by scanning into a line. In exchange the rides we do get are exactly when we want them.

Now if we are talking some of the loopholes that use to be out there then yes, those needed to go but are there any currently?

I say limit the amount to 2 but allow guest to select their own times rather than next available. You can play the modify button game all day and zig zag around the park or plan how you want which would be better

To keep more availability for everyone

Doesn't stacking create more availability overall because people who stack get less use out of it?

For example, if I pick up a Space Mountain at 7am for 9:15AM but then push it to 3:00 that afternoon all I did was shift availability. I freed up 9:15 but took a spot at 3:00. The park then opens at 9:00am and I can't make another selection until 11:00 because I have not been on my first ride yet and my timer has not expired.

Meanwhile the person who took the 9:15 can get another one immediately after scanning in at Space Mountain. So, at 9:15 they pick up another ride at 9:45, scan in there and pick up another for 10:30, scan in there and pick up another for 11:00, scan in there and pick up one for 12:15.

They just used 4 slots and picked up a fifth in the same amount of time that I grabbed two. If you keep stacking for later in the day that gets worse as they continue to grab rides while I wait for the timer to expire again.

That doesn't even get into how you have less options if you stack vs. just use it "normal". Someone grabbing their 2nd or 3rd ride at 10 something in the morning is going to have a better chance at another headliner then someone who must wait another hour to try.
