Skip the lobster roll unless you are visiting New England, A proper lobster roll has a toasted roll, lobster meat and just enough mayo or dressing to hold the meat together.

The signature dishes at LTT are the Pot Roast and 'Thanksgiving Dinner' can't go wrong with either.

Though other parts of New England are favorable to the split-top roll, lobster meat, and melted butter, rather than mayo.

I'm going to a convention so I wont be driving or moving 1+ hours in a bus just to get a roll

Their food is FAR better in fact I'm surprised they even HAVE a website, As the place is run by old school Mainah's

The WDW version is OK but it has way too much filler (roll/mayo/lettuce), The real deal concentrates on the LOBSTER!!.

Those lobster rolls are more common in the southern parts of New England and they are also VERY tasty, Especially when you get them at the wharf where the lobster is REALLY fresh! And Lobstah is best served with clarified butter only.

It's hard to believe that in Colonial times Lobstah was considered 'poor food' ie food for the poor and animals.

I'm from Southern New England myself and I like the hot butter rolls in the hot dog-like roll that cold ones are served in. I also have never heard anyone pronounce it "lobstah" here either, that seems more Boston/ Rhode Island dialect.

The issue is, I am not going to "New england". I'm going to WDW.

I had the lobster roll at CCH a couple of years ago. It was good but I would have liked a little less mayo. The clam chowder isn't bad either even though it probably came out of a giant can.

Lobstah's come from Maine (Down East) where they look at you funny if you pronounce your R's

I tried to post a photo last night but couldn't for some reason. I had the lobster roll and clam chowder for lunch during my 2012 visit and the chowder came in a plain paper cup. I'm not sure if it's still on the menu but I've had it at least 2 or 3 times over the years.

I think ill stay with 50's Prime time (at DHS) crab cakes.
the photos of the "crab cakes" at Liberty inn.. look like flattened patties for burgers..
