Leaving in Sept....need your help

Hi all! Leaving Sept 27th, staying through Oct 3rd and had a planning question for you. I am able to start making dining reservations on June 29th which is my 90 day mark. From what i understand i can make all of my reservations at that point for my whole trip, but, here's my dilemna... Disney releases park times, schedules, etc. 3 months in advance right? So today being June 1, they should release EMH's, park times, show times, etc. for Sept sometime today or within the next couple days...which is great. But, what do i do about Oct 1 Oct 2nd and Oct 3rd?? In other words, how can i plan a meal around EMH's or maybe do the Fantasmic package or something like that for Oct if i don't even have the schedule yet? My fear is that i would have to wait for the Oct schedule to come out, call back the dining line, and everything i want will be long sold out. Is it probable that the Sept schedule that they release will mirror the Oct schedule? Does Fantasmic have a set schedule?

My suggestion would be to book park restaurants for your Sept. dates & book any restaurants outside the parks for your Oct. dates.
When the Oct. hours are posted & if you decide to change a reservation, you could always call the reservation line & try to do that.

Make your plans based off of the September schedule and if necessary modify if needed. September and October schedules should be pretty similar just remember to match up the days of the week and not dates (ie compare Thursdays to Thursdays and not Oct 1st to Sept 1st)

Just FYI but you will be traveling during free dining so do not be surprised if there is zero availability at the more popular places and even some of the less popular places. I just tried to book a client for Le Cellier for as much as 95 days out and the restaurant was booked solid for their entire length of stay.

the dreaded 10 day ADR gets you everytime. That is by biggest concern. The 10 days before my 90 days start so I can start booking ADR ....

I've heard of this 90+10 ADR but who is that for exactly?

I'll also be arriving in WDW on Sept 27. My room is a DVC point rental booked by a DVC member. We only have 3 meals to book ADR's for (character meals).

If you have a reservation at a Disney resort then you can start reserving dining 90 days from your check in date for up to 10 days worth of dining, hence the term 90 days + 10.

Ah, right. So you don't have to call back back each following day to book ADR's. For some reason I was thinking it was 10 days the other way. :hammer:

I'd like to thank everyone for their responses thus far, i'm taking it all into account, if anyone else reading this has suggestions please let me know. MasterYoda i'm really dissapointed to hear that about Le Cellier, i have read so many positives about that place, I wanted to make it a point to get a reservation this trip so i can finally try it.. sounds like i may be out of luck, ditto with the breakfast in the castle with the princesses for my daughter.

As of 12 pm est, i still do not see the schedule for Sept. on the Disney site, or All ears, etc. On a positive note i'm starting to piece together some of the events i can plan around or plan for. For example, it's almost positive Fantasmic will be Sun Tues and Thurs right? ( i know i know, not written in stone :)). And MNSSHP will be Tues 29th Thurs Oct 1 Fri Oct 2nd.... So maybe Fantasmic dinner package Thurs night would work.

You won't necessarily be out of luck you are just going to have to be very flexible on when you want to dine there. If at all possible make the date as far into your vacation as possible. The same would be true for CM and CRT as well.

Eaglesfan, we are going Sept 25th-oct3....So I feel your pain!
as far as getting the ressies you want, call back every day if you can, even twice a day..I did this last year for Le Cellier and after trying for a week, I got what I wanted..and far as for The castle same thing....try and try again..you will get it (there are some people out there that actually cancel a ressie instead of just not going...:fork:)......sorry but I really miss the days without the free dining..Yes I may be one of the few, but I miss going up to a restarant and either getting a ressie that day or sometime during my trip......Yeah gone are those days!!!!

Does anyone know if they have a set amount of ADR's they can take for guests using the 90+10? for example, I go Oct 16th, I want ADR for CRT for Oct 18th, so 90 days before oct 16th I can call to book for 10 days + but so can someone leaving in the 10 days before me, i.e on the 9th -15th Oct, would all the ADR's be taken up!
Are people finding it harder to get their ADR's
Do you get where i'm coming form or am I getting confused?!

From my understanding no. If they can book a restaurant to 100% in 20 minutes on day 100 they will do it. ADRs are really hard to come by during free dining even at 90+ days out. Just recently I had to make a Le Cellier ARD at 95 days out...no availability at all for 93, 94 and 95 days out. Tried to make Coral Reef ADR's for 89 days out...zip. Even Garden Grill was hard to find a time for.

You can book 90 days plus your length of stay up to 10 days. In this particular case the ADR was for day 5 of a 5 day stay hence 95 days.

Did he call first thing on his 90 day mark?

Can you make reservations for people who didnt book through you? Im just curious as to how wide open the system is...

I was online the first minute it was available to me. I have not tried getting ADR's someone that I have not booked so I do not know for sure. Regardless of that, doing ADR's only is not something that I plan on doing unless the boss lady so orders it.

Yeah just curious...Do you know if you can do them at midnight, or do you have to wait till 7am?
