Lack of Charging stations in Disneyland.

You can't even enter the park without using a computer to make a park reservation. There is no completely analog option.
What good are these ticket booths if you have to do everything with a phone?

When I went to Disneyland last year I was there an hour before opening and left about 45 minutes before closing in part because my iPhone 13's battery was in the red. During that day I didn't use social media at all (never would at a theme park) I just took a few pictures, had the Disney Play app running in the background to collect those little ride badges and was constantly using the Disneyland app to check wait times, mobile order, and do the Genie+/fastpass thing, and of course because it was sunny California my screen brightness was almost always on maximum so I could see it. Making it easier to charge up isn't "a right" but it seems like common sense in a place where you want people spending a lot of time.

More to the point I can't see why anyone who doesn't have to pay/install them would be upset about a few extra power ports and wireless charging pads? It's like seeing some shade and saying "I'm not hot?!"
That's pretty sad performance from Apple. My $200 moto phone will do at least two days with that kind of usage. Maybe it is time to switch to something better?

So you’d suggest adding a disclaimer when buying Disneyland tickets that you should find a phone with a long battery life?

Seems to me that it’s an issue and Disney should do something about it. If they’re forcing you into using your phone for some pretty essential parts of your day, they should have some free charging points.

If I’m paying $200 to visit for a day I’d really not expect any pain.
So then you have two options today when visiting DLR:

1. Bring your own battery pack, available on Amazon for as little as $10-15.
2. Purchase a Fuelrod from one of the kiosks around DLR and return it for a fresh one when its used up.

Beyond that its just yelling into the void complaining about DLR not yet having "free" charging ports.

So my $250 Park Hopper doesn’t allow me to fully enjoy my day without purchasing other amenities?

For me personally it’s not really an issue, I bring my own battery pack whenever I visit, I do however think it is a shame that that’s required to be able to realistically visit the park. I do think about people my Grandparents generation who struggle to purchase a ticket, let alone enjoy the park as designed.

Good for people to try and get their admission working after their phone died or for people to yell at CMs about not knowing the confusing reservation process was required.
Or in my case a CM to tell me “sorry… can’t give you a piece of paper for your $1,000 magic key, have to use your phone. Have a magical day.”

( the CM was very nice, it’s not her fault the policy is what it is and she did explain park hopping and told me that park hopping would move to 11 Am soon, which it did. So… gold star for her in making the interaction as good as it could be).

Your definition of "fully enjoy my day" might be different than mine, so I don't know what you do or don't need to purchase to "fully enjoy your day".

With that said, if you want to use your phone all throughout the day from open to close including using the DL App or what have you then yes it might need to purchase a battery pack. Personally I've done many visits using my phone all day where I didn't need to use a battery pack. So ymmv regarding usage and the need for a battery pack.

Either way as I said you're yelling into the void until Disney decides its worth it for them to have "free" charging option at DLR....

I think you know how your phone will perform and will be smart enough to bring a power brick.

I get hungry throughout the day too. They should give me some free food!

Using my park hopper ticket and entering the waitlist for a restaurant are pretty basic things to do that require a smartphone.
And that is only a couple actions which requires you to use your phone for a max of a 15-20 minutes per day. Hardly battery draining actions. Heck even throw in there some wait time checking of attractions and you're still not into true battery draining activity.

Once again I'm 100% in favor of Disney adding charging ports around DLR. I just know they aren't going to do it any time soon. So instead of yelling into the void I bring a battery pack to use as needed if my phone gets too low to be able to use it.

You misspelt “yes”.

You’re free to leave the park and eat what you like and come back. But let’s hope your phone doesn’t die while you’re out or I don’t know how you’re getting back in.
You’re free to charge your phone while you’re out of the park and cons back in too. Or buy a power brick. Or a burner phone. Only the most broke members of society don’t have a burner phone!

It is not Disneyland's responsibility to charge your phone. Come prepared.

If you are brings a toddler, you bring extra diapers. If you bring a iphone, you bring a power brick.

If you get sick.. you should have your own medicine too! These first aid stations are a completely waste!
If you get thirsty... pack a water!
You got tired... didn't you bring your sitting cane?

Disney should just call all the people in the park visitors... I mean why call them guests if you are going to treat them like someone you just tolerate?

Whatever happened to thinking customer service was a good idea?
