I hardly noticed the storm. Yeah, there was lots of rain and lightning and high winds and tree limbs falling on houses and rooftops flying into the middle of Lake Shore Drive and a tornado was sighted in Bollingbrook and I think I saw the tornado carry away a farmhouse and some old lady on a bicycle. But other than that, it wasn't too bad where I was. In fact, my school lost power during class and one of my classmates groped me. So it worked out just fine.
I was just near Lake Shore Drive this past weekend. I was visiting the Windy City!
Off to get Birthday cake..
Now to see if I can not eat it till tommorow..

:wave: Back from lunch.
Wow, first the homeless man w/ the kitties...now over lunch I stumbled across the memorial for one of the 2 firefighters that was killed in the Deutsche Bank building down by Ground Zero. It's at St. Pat's 1/2 a block from my office. It is so eerie, they have Fifth Ave. completely blocked off and have the memorial playing over a loudspeaker. It's completely silent aside from that, even w/ the sidewalks full of firefighters & tourists.
That is sooo sad.
