Yeah, but it's good to get there and get situated/comfortable before classes start. My freshman year, I moved in almost a week before classes and it really helped.

I commuted my freshman semester.

I have never seen it either...:lookaroun

Me either.

It was fun!..HOT but fun..:)

She is great..Silly and having fun playing with her toys..Im gonna try and get the new pics up tonight.....:sohappy:

Yay! Can't wait.

That was DD's favorite show - she wanted to be Gadget....

Awww. I loved that show. In fact, I have Season 1 and 2 on DVD.

Anyone remember Rocket Power, Rugrats, The Wild Thornberrys, or Spongebob?

Because they were more my time. :lookaroun

I loved those shows!

BTW, have you found out what your official staus is at OSU yet?

 Of course not.

As of right now, I'm just going with the flow of everything. I'm going to let them find out what I am and then get back to me about it. Things are pretty complicated and I don't know enough to figure it out myself.

I'm not taking major-specific classes yet, though. So...

I know what you mean. It cost me $149 for DS to fly from Tampa to Islip. I booked it now and hope I can grab a cheap fare later. Then we'll use the difference in April. We decided to book DD's flight for her using one of our free tickets since it would have been about $350 for her to join us for just a coupleof days (she doesn't have that week out) - it will be her Christmas present.

Hi Nibblies!

So, my daughter wants to ask y'all if anyone has a recipe for pumpkin cookies? I don't know why.....
I just checked around...here's one that sounds good...actually, it sounds really good...I might have to make these at some point:

GREAT PUMPKIN COOKIES

4 cups unsifted flour
2 cups oatmeal
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups oil
1/2 cup white sugar
2 cups brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin
1/2 cup nuts
1/2 cup raisins

Combine flour, oatmeal, spices, and salt. Set aside.
Cream oil, sugars, egg and vanilla on medium speed of mixer for 2 minutes.

Add 1/4 cup Libby's canned pumpkin and mix 1 minute more.

Add the remaining flour and pumpkin alternately. Stir in nuts and raisins.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased sheet baking sheets.

Bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes or until firm and lightly browned.

Makes about 5 dozen cookies.

Unbaked dough can be frozen in air tight container. Thaw in refrigerator and bake as directed.

Actually, I just priced Columbus, OH to Orlando and they had an internet offer of 119/pp each way. I have a $98 credit to apply to this. So, before taxes it comes to about 378 round trip. Not bad, but I'd really like to not pay above 300 if possible. I'll keep checking.
