La Nouba ... Worth it?

I am tinkering (no pun intended) with the idea of getting tickets to La Nouba. In all my trips, I've never been, but I am looking for something "extra" this trip that the WDW first-timers can do too.

Since I can't justify the expense of Front-and-Center or Category 1, are all seats good seats? Is it worth the money? And will children (7, 7, and 6) enjoy it?

Thanks again!

My DS13 thoroughly enjoyed it at age 8. We've both been three times now. The show is definitely worth the money IMO! I don't think front-row centre are the better seats. We always sit in the front row centre of the upper level, Section 204 in the front. The parade passes inches in front of you and you can take in the full show. Anything in the lower tier you'll find yourself looking back to see some stuff.

That said, there certainly isn't a bad seat in the house!

I agree, go see it! One of the best experiences of my life. I've sat in three different areas [back left (stage right if you know stage directions if that works better), middle right (stage left), and front almost center] and all areas were wonderful. If money is the issue then definitely don't worry about your seats with the other areas, all have a wonderful view of the show. And your kids should love it! My niece at 8 was mesmerized the entire time.

Go and have fun for me!

I agree it is a VERY entertaining show that keeps you engaged for the entire time. I also agree fully with Monty that the better seats are possibly in the section 2. If you get the front row there, you get to be right next to all the participants as they open the show.

You won't be sorry. :D

Everyone should see this show once. It's truly amazing.

As we booked tickets very, very late we got some of the worst seats in the house (back left) but the view was still fine and I wouldn't complain about sitting there again (as long as the crazy guy who seemed to think that he can take my seat isn't there again!)

La Nouba is an absolute must-see! DH and I have seen it 3 times and it never gets old for us. We haven't gone in a few years because now we have small children (3 and 1), but I think once they are about your children's ages they will enjoy it too. As for the seating, I really don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Maybe go for center seats, but further back.
Have a great time if you go!!! :)

I saw it once...it was cool, but not nearly as awesome as I was expecting.
It's like a cheap, small town circus without animals.
It's really expensive for what you get.

I'd say, go see it, you'll enjoy it... but I'd only go again if the tickets were really cheap...like free.

The show is AMAZING! We've also been 3 times and absolutely loved it and seen something a little different each time. Both my boys saw it for the first time at the age of 2. They both sat mezmirized the entire time! My youngest, now 3, informed me months ago that he wanted to see it again on his birthday in January. As soon as I bought the tickets, Cirque announced Kooza will be in Atlanta in January as well. We bought tickets for that too :lookaroun

Not old, just vintage.
La Nouba is great. I have seen it 3 times now. I think kids of any age would enjoy it thoroughly. Do not worry about getting front and center seats. Try and get as close to the front of sections 203-205 as you can. Those are the best seats in my opinion. A good view of the stage and you won't have to turn around to see things that go on around the theatre.

We went when the boys were 5, 7, and 9. It was a bit long for them (almost two hours including the pre-show - which is not to be missed), but they really enjoyed it. Much of the show is mesmerizing for people of any age. Highly recommended!

Put me down as another person recommending it. It was absolutely incredible. We sat a few rows from the back of the theater, slightly off center towards the left, but we had a perfect view of everything. I really was amazed by the show. Definitely worth seeing at least once. Loved it.
