No, I believe the problem wasn't that he used the MGM name; its that he referred to the park as "Disney's MGM Studios." The correct name of the park at that time was "Disney-MGM Studios."

You know, its amazing how odd it feels to type MGM now... and that used to be so natural just a few years ago. :o

Well if it's a minute nitpick like that , then honestly I dont see how one could enjoy the book, but on the other note It is a strange feeling to see/type the MGM branding next to Disney, I still think the "Hollywood Studios" title is temp. as in it will probably be re-titled in a few more years

Looking on Wikipedia it seems like this series is going to be turned into a movie.:lookaroun
Wikipedia is a great source...:lookaroun
I've wondered if it will be for a while, but the last time I checked Ridley Pearson's site, he said it was still all up in the air.

Would make pretty good movies...But would be a pain to film!

I know what you mean about filming wise, it would be difficult, although the majority of the first book takes place while the park is closed so that shouldnt be too hard, but there are some day and eve scenes that are key plot points. Im suprised it hasnt been made into a film series yet seeing as Disney owns the locations and the movie alone would be 2 1/2 hrs of park publicity, lol.
