Wow, cool! I really enjoyed the first two books, more so the second one. I heard this one will be coming out next year in April, but originally it was supposed to September 2009 I think. Either way, Im sure this will be a great book. I'll re-read the first two right before this one comes out.

Other way around, right?

I've seen it referred to both, though...

Yeah, the actual name is 'Transportation and Ticket Center'. Just look at all of the signs and trash cans around the site, and listen to the Monorail spiels. There are a few signs around Walt Disney World that have it wrong, though.

Right...That's what I thought.

...And this why I only refer to it as the TTC.

'Ticket and Transportation Center' A personal pet peeve of mine. :brick:

I think he even committed the heinous 'Disney's MGM Studios'

TTC - Eww... :hurl: It just doesn't flow like that...

MGM - Tsk, tsk... that doesn't even require research... it was the park's NAME for goodness sake! And its not like Epcot thats had about five names in addition to the dozens of wrong ones...:dazzle: :brick:

Honestly, I find it flows better with "Ticket" first.

As for MGM...Yeah, that's annoying. EPCOT though...Heh.
  • EPCOT Center
  • Epcot'94
  • Epcot'95
  • Epcot'96
  • Epcot
:lookaroun....It should just be EPCOT. A synthesis of all of those, if they don't want to use "Center".

Yeah, that would be best I think... I liked how a few of the parking signs recently refer to it that way... as "EPCOT Parking," not merely "Epcot Parking." It looks good!

Well..The main gate to EPCOT and the dedication plaque of all things has the Epcot logo from 1994.:brick: I can understand changing the main gate, but the plaque!?:fork: It was sold on eBay...

And they should at least change it again to match the EpCot logo. (One with the stylized C..)

You know, thats never bothered me as much as I guess it could. But you're right, the whole area now has mixed-matched signage, from Epcot on the plaque and directional signs to EpCot on the welcome signs at the ticket booths and park maps to EPCOT on the parking signs... what a mess! :brick:I guess its a fitting sign (pardon the pun ;)) of how Disney thinks of Epcot/EpCot /EPCOT: if they can't get the signs right, how will they ever figure out an overall cohesive theme and meaning for it? :dazzle:

Drives me NUTS. I envy MK/DHS/DAK and the One Logo-ness.

All the more reason to pick up a brand new logo. Hopefully one that uses the EC Symbol in it.:D

A: Enjoyed the first one, couldn't care less about the second

B: Wait...Is that? Is that a giant Snake at Epcot? What? Is this Harry Freakin' Potter all of a sudden? Was Tom Riddle really Card Walker all this time?

C: The cover art for 2 and 3 are incredibly awful. First one was classy. These are not.

D: WHAT HAPPENED TO WONDERS OF LIFE?!?!?
:ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL:

I didn't see this last night.
I'm actually surprised that this book seems to focus on Epcot...at the end of the 2nd book, it seemed like it was switching the focus to DHS.

I will sometime. :D

Really? DHS....I wanna see them go into TDS.:lookaroun

And yes, you should.

I'd like to clear a little something up about the author using Disney-MGM as a park title, this is in the first book ,which came out in 2005, so I hardly find him at fault.

No, I believe the problem wasn't that he used the MGM name; its that he referred to the park as "Disney's MGM Studios." The correct name of the park at that time was "Disney-MGM Studios."

You know, its amazing how odd it feels to type MGM now... and that used to be so natural just a few years ago. :o
