Upon returning to the World Map, Sora, Donald and Goofy continue their adventures throughout the worlds.

Olympus Coliseum (2nd Visit)

The team arrives in the Thebes Plaza, completely disregarding the Centaur Forest, where they fought Nessus the last time they were here. In the plaza, the citizens are running amuck, as several Heartless are wreaking havoc among the town. Sora unleashes his Keyblade and jumps into the middle of the action and right into the middle of a battle.

After the fight is over, Sora, Donald and Goofy question why there’s so much terror going around Thebes. Hercules fights his way through the crowd to get to the team. Once greeting them, he tells them that Hades, Lord of the Dead has been unleashing this bounty of Heartless from the depths of the Underworld. Hercules says that Hades is looking to settle things out and he wants his revenge. Hercules suggests that they might want to head to the Thebes Coliseum to take cover. Hercules joins the party and they decide to head over to the new Coliseum.

As you make your way across the Greek plaza, there will be sporadic bursts of Heartless and Unknown creatures here and there. Simply fight your way through the monsters until you reach the entrance to a Greek stone Alleyway. In the Alleyway, the mischievous salesman still awaits, selling items. Before continuing further, you can use the save point in the corner of the Alleyway. Afterwards, continue out of the narrow space and into the Coliseum Courtyard.

Once in the large courtyard, there will be many more sporadic bursts of Heartless. Survey the area for any other enemies before proceeding past the large golden statue of Hercules, up the steps of the Coliseum and into the Lobby.

In the Lobby, Phil, Megara and Pegasus are waiting. Phil suggests that Sora and the others should try the new tournament being held. Of course, it’s optional, but Sora still would like to give it a try. He signs up for the competition.

For winning The Centaur Cup, Sora receives the WALL-E Summon Spell.

After the tournament, Megara states that Hades been really getting on the whole city’s nerves lately. Sora suggests that they put a stop to him. Suddenly, Hades voice booms throughout the Coliseum. They rush outside to see what is happening.

Outside, Hades stands before all of them. He states that he’s tired of always being the one who has to plan his revenge. He says that the Underworld is getting quite lonely and that he’s reserved spots for all of them. He raises his hands up into the air. Suddenly, the ground of the Courtyard begins to crack. The ground splinters and cracks, separating. The entire Coliseum begins to collapse into the ground. The group falls into the depths of the Underworld.

The team arrives in the Underworld: Path to the Coliseum. Here, Hades says that he’s planned a little game for all of them and that they had better play carefully. He disappears in a plume of smoke. Hercules tells Megara, Phil and Pegasus to stay here for the time being. He tells Donald and Goofy to look after them for the time being, leaving Sora and Hercules to withdraw Hades’ tricks and traps by themselves. They head to the Lobby of the Coliseum.

Inside, the Lobby’s usual bright glow has distinguished. Before proceeding, you should use the save point in the corner of the room.

They arrive in a makeshift Arena, which Hades has crafted himself. Before them, they see their opponents: Pain & Panic!

-Boss: Pain & Panic-

This fight isn’t necessarily hard, but rather annoying. Pain and Panic are both very small creatures, who can move very quickly, making it hard to hit and catch up with them. Since, they move so quickly, they can also attack you faster than you can attack them.

First and foremost, you should focus on one of the monsters, so that they are out of the way, instead of having two monsters attacking you at the same time. Now that one of the monsters is out of the way, put your all into getting rid of the other. This battle should soon be over.

After the battle, the floor of the Arena begins to crack and splits open, sending Sora and Hercules down into the next chamber. The Stone Chamber.

They descend down until they touch the floor. They’re behind a pillar. The room is circular, with several pillars surrounding the center of the stone room. The room is adorned with shields and swords. Everything is silent and then a massive blast shakes the room! Sora looks from behind the pillar to see what it is. Medusa! Hercules quickly grabs him and tells Sora not to look her in the eye or he’ll turn to stone! There has to be some other way to be rid of the monster. Then, Hercules gets an idea.

-Boss: Medusa-

Medusa will constantly stay in the center of the room, keeping watch of Sora and Hercules. When she feels as though the two are up to no good, she emits a blast of laser energy from her single eyeball. Sora and Hercules should avoid the laser effect at all costs; it’s how Medusa turns her victims to stone. She also performs an attack where venom spits out of her snake hair and towards the two, but it is simple enough to be avoided.

When Medusa is ready to attack the two, they should be standing behind one of the pillars adorned with shields and swords, so that when she goes to attack, her own laser attack is reflected back on her. After doing this a few times, Medusa will no longer be able to fight back and she turns into stone, before exploding.

The explosion causes a gap to appear in the center of the room. Hercules and Sora jump down the hole.

They fall into the middle of an abandoned maze. Suddenly, a huge roar is let out. They must be in the Centaur’s maze.

-Boss: Centaur-

The Centaur is stampeding about the maze looking for you. Now, some might want to keep as far away a distance that you can, but it’s actually quite the opposite. Once you find the Centaur, don’t let it out of your sight! He travels quickly and is capable of breaking down walls to access further parts of the maze.

Once you find him, unleash powerful combos on the monster, before he decides to head off again. Before long, the monster should collapse to the floor and leave them to continue onwards.

Sora and Hercules find a passageway illuminated by flames, which leads to Hades’ Descent.

Inside, Hades is completely taken aback when he sees the two standing there. It never crossed his mind that they would make it this far! This sends Hades into a rage and Sora and Hercules into a battle.

-Boss: Hades-

This battle is very much like the previous battles with Hades. He’s invincible for the first few rounds of combos, but then he should start taking some damage. Hades will use hands to create flames of smoke, as well as meteors, which he will throw at the two.

Occasionally, Hades will create a giant inferno of flames, slowly s__________g Sora into them. Run away from him and keep your distance at all times. Continue doing your combo moves and the battle with Hades should be over soon.

After the battle, Hades relentlessly catches his breath, claiming that he is immortal and that nothing can defeat him. He disappears in a plume of smoke, leaving the Coliseum and returning to his lair. Hercules thanks Sora. They return to the entrance of the Coliseum, where Meg, Phil, Pegasus, Donald and Goofy are waiting. They said that Hades had retreated, but the town should be at bay for the time being.

They return to the courtyard at nighttime, where everything is quiet now. Although Hades might still be out there, at least Thebes can rest for a little longer. The Coliseum is now in the depths of the Underworld. But in the center of the courtyard still remains the golden statue of Hercules, who proves to be a true hero even in the darkest of times. Thebes can rest for a little while longer.

Hercules, Megara, Phil and Pegasus all thank the team before they head off.

Sora obtains the Flara Spell.

OLYMPUS COLISEUM

Jiminy’s Journal- Olympus Coliseum (2nd Visit)

When arriving in Olympus Coliseum, they found that the city was under a lot of attacks by the Heartless. Hercules informed them that Hades had been wrecking havoc among Thebes and together, they head over to the Coliseum, where they met up with Phil, Megara and Pegasus.

Suddenly, Hades appeared and sent the Coliseum plummeting down into the depths of the Underworld, where Sora and Hercules endured many trials and tribulations. They fought against Pain and Panic, Medusa and the Centaur, before finally reaching Hades, who after a treacherous fight, ended up retreating further into the Underworld.

The night sky of Thebes was illuminated with stars, as the town could finally settle down for a little while. Hercules was respected as a hero and Sora was acknowledged for his strength of heart. Sora is a true hero.

Just would like to throw in in case you didn't hear, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep comes out on September 7th!
Yes, I know! I'm so excited! I'm working on tieing the events of Birth By Sleep with my KHV game, so that all lose ends are tied up. Because to be honest, I already completely spoiled myself for that game.

Upon returning to the World Map, Sora, Donald and Goofy head to the next available world.

Monstropolis (2nd Visit)

Sora, Donald and Goofy return to Monstropolis, where they find themselves on the City Streets, where a group of Heartless approach the team and a fight commences. After the battle, the team takes a look around the city. Something must not be right. Plus, Sora still cannot get used to the fact that he, Donald and Goofy have been turned into crazy looking monsters. Well, it IS the only way they’d be able to travel this world without being unnoticed. They decide to look for Sulley and Mike, hoping to catch up.

On the City Streets, they move past Harryhausen’s Sushi Joint, where the big event with Boo and the Fearless Destroyer happened last time. In the mean time, Heartless continue to appear, so simply fight your way through them. Make your way towards Mike’s Apartment. Upon arriving inside, you find that Mike and Sulley aren’t there. Sulley must be at the Headquarters, continuing to train to be the top monster and it’s just a hunch, but Mike is probably with him. They decide to make their way towards the Headquarters.

Continue making your way across the City Streets, towards the big M with an eye in the middle of it. You arrive at the Headquarter doors, which slide open for the team and allow them into the Lobby.

Inside the Lobby, Celia, Mike’s girlfriend recognizes the team and tells them that Mike and Sulley are on the Laugh Floor, holding a conference with Waternoose. They begin to make their way across the Lobby, past the various pictures of Sulley, boasting his Employee of the Month status. In the corner of the Lobby, Needleman and Smitty complaining about all of the new monsters trying to take away their jobs, actually referring to the Heartless. The team makes their way down the Hallway.

When passing through, Roz pulls down their office window and asks the team whether they have an appointment. Donald tries to flirt their way past her, but Roz laughs sarcastically. She is not amused. She ends up letting them pass through, but she first warns them, telling them that she’s ALWAYS watching them. At this point, you can explore the other parts of the Headquarters first.

IFurther down the Hallway, you’ll return to the Locker Room, where it would be a good idea to use the save point. Inside the Demonstration Room, you’ll find the faux bedroom, which even includes a life-like robot child, used during scare tutorials. In the room, there is a treasure chest which contains a Torn Page.

Once you feel that you are ready, make your way towards the Scare Floor, where Waternoose is chastising Mike and Sulley for bringing Boo, a real, human child into the Monster World. Sora, Donald and Goofy are watching the scene from afar, eaves-dropping behind a couple of screaming canisters. Waternoose holds Boo in his hands; Boo, trying to release from his grasp. Waternoose claims that he is going to set everything right, but then Randall appears out of nowhere and snatches Boo. Sulley yells at Waternoose to stop him, but then Waternoose reveals that he’s well aware of Randall’s scheme. He will use Boo’s screams to generate energy for the company.

Sulley and Mike run to rescue Boo, but Waternoose opens one of the bedroom doors and pushes them through, making sure that they will not be able to return. Waternoose tells Randall to throw the door in the shredder. Suddenly, Donald accidentally tips over the scream canisters and catches Randall’s attention. Sora, Donald and Goofy high-tail it out of there. Randall quickly makes his way after them.

Sora, Donald and Goofy run down the Hallway and into the Lobby, where Randall quickly catches up to them. They circle around the centered desk and run back into the Hallway, past Roz. They run back up the flight of stairs towards the Scare Floor, where Randall finally confronts them and states that he will not let them pass.

-Boss: Randall-

This is the second Boss fight with Randall in the game and this battle is not any different than the first time around.

The difficulty about this battle is that Randall can turn himself invisible or camouflage himself in with his surroundings, so it could be a bit tricky to find him and land some combo attacks on him. He’ll use this to his advantage and attack you without you noticing him. One you do land a hit on him, he’ll appear and this is a prominent time to attack him. However, after a short while, he will turn himself invisible again. Just repeat this tactic over and you should be fine.

After the battle, Randall is menacingly approaching the group, but Mike and Sulley suddenly charge through one of the doors. Randall forgot to shred it! Sulley is capable of grabbing Boo from a surprised Randall and head towards the Door Vault, on the opposite side of the Scare Floor. Mike and the team quickly follow after Sulley. Randal slithers his way after them, making sure that they will not get away.

In the Door Vault, Mike and Sulley must find Boo’s door in order to successfully return her to her room and out of harms way. Sulley, with Boo, latches onto one of the doors, followed by Mike, Sora, Donald and Goofy, all on their own doors. Randall follows closely behind, latching onto his own door. Boo enjoys the ride and laughs, powering the millions of doors in storage.

Now, a mini-game takes place, involving a race against Randall. The player must use a series of reaction commands to increase or decrease the speed of the door at certain moments of the race. The main point of the race is to reach Sulley before Randall can. Another reaction command requires Sora to leap from door to door. However, some doors might become unattached and fall to the ground. At the end of the mini-game, Sora will reach the two, closely followed behind by Randall.

After the chase, Sulley enters the room of the door he’s holding onto with Boo, but Randall follows him inside. Randall is about to destroy Sulley, but Boo lunges at him, starts pulling his antenna and finally starts beating him with a baseball bat, making him change colors. Sulley throws Randall into a nearby door, which closes afterwards and unhinges itself, falling to the floor, where it breaks into millions of pieces. They decide that it’s time to set things right.

In the Demonstration Room, Waternoose is suprised to see Sulley, Mike, Boo, Sora, Donald and Goofy confronting him. They drill him, stating what his intentions are, but Waternoose doesn’t want to hear it and attacks them.

-Boss: Waternoose-

This is a simple enough battle. Waternoose lunges himself at the team, attacking them with his centipede-like legs. However, the attack can simply be dodged by stepping to the side of him. Waternoose will also perform an attack where he rapidly spins across the area, hitting the team on the way. This attack is a lot harder to block, but you shouldn’t take too much damage. However, the battle should be over soon.

After the battle, Waternoose is about to do them in, claiming that children’s screams will harvest the power for the future, but then one of the walls of the room ascends and Needleman and Smitty are using the Demonstration Room equipment to broadcast what Waternoose had just done to all of Monstropolis. Roz approaches through the door, where she reveals that she is the lead secret agent of the Child Detective Agency. The rest of the CDA enters behind her. They arrest Waternoose and take him away, making sure he’ll never be able to do something like this again. Roz tells Mike and Sulley that they know what must be done.

On the Scare Floor, Mike and Sulley are holding Boo, in front of her bedroom door. Mike and Sulley hug Boo goodbye, followed by the team. Sulley opens the door and enters the room with Boo. He cannot look away, as he sees how happy he is. He gives Boo one last hug, before he slowly starts to back away. He gently waves goodbye to Boo, before closing the door behind him. Boo gets out of bed to open the door, but finds that it leads to her closet.

Back in the Monster World, Boo’s door is being shredded, while the team is saying goodbye to Mike and Sulley. They state that they can return anytime they’d like. Sora and the others exit the scare floor, not noticing the single splinter Boo’s wooden door. As Sulley leaves, he notices it and picks it up, keeping it as a reminder of Boo.

Sora obtains the Blizzaga Spell.

MONSTROPOLIS

Jiminy’s Journal- Monstropolis (2nd Visit)

Sora, Donald and Goofy returned to Monstropolis, which was under light attacks from the Heartless. They had wanted to see Mike and Sulley to catch up with them, so they headed towards the Headquarters. Inside, Celia pointed them in the right direction.

On the Scare Floor, Waternoose had stated that he would set things right, but shortly after that, Randall appeared and snatched Boo, revealing that Waternoose knew of the scheme the entire time. Waternoose pushed Mike and Sulley through one of the doors, telling Randall to shred it, but Randall had other things to surpass: Sora, Donald and Goofy.

After a battle, Randall was about to attack, but Sulley and Mike busted through the doors, startling Randall. Sulley grabs Boo and they head for the Door Vault. In the maze of doors, Randall was about to attack Sulley, but Boo prevented that. Sulley threw Randall into one of the doors, which closed and unhinged itself, falling to the ground and smashing, preventing Randall from returning.

While confronting Waternoose, they tricked him into revealing his attentions, which was broadcasted to all of Monstropolis. Roz bursted in and revealed that she was a part of the CDA. Waternoose was arrested and taken way. Sulley and Mike said goodbye to Boo, who returned to her room. Afterwardsm Boo’s door was shredded. Sulley kept onto a single splinter of Boo’s door, always keeping it as a reminder.

Now that you have received the final Torn Page, return to Cid’s House in Radiant Garden, where you can complete the 100 Acre Wood.

100 Acre Wood (6th Visit)

Sora lands on the surface of the 100 Acre Wood book, where the new Torn Page reveals the Starry Hill. Sora examines the area closely and enters.

Sora arrives at the Starry Hill, where Pooh is waiting on a grassy field. Sora can see that the large hill is illuminated by the bright orange moon, as a thousand tiny stars twinkle in the sky, above. He can make out all of Pooh’s friends at the top of the hill. Pooh asks Sora if he’d like to accompany him there and Sora agrees.

Honey Trails

In the final mini-game of the 100 Acre Wood, Sora must guide Pooh to the top of the Starry Hill, where he can meet his friends, under a designated time limit. However, the eager Pooh Bear is very easily distracted by the multiple hunny pots that are aligned along the path. Pooh follows Sora across the bridge, which is suspended over a gentle stream, but at the first glance of a hunny pot, he’ll head in an alternate direction.

Sora must take the hunny pots and hide them from Pooh, so that the bear will stay on course. If all goes correct, Pooh will climb to the top of the hill, along with Sora, where he reunites with his friends.

At the top of the hill, Sora sits with Pooh and all of his friends, as the moonlit hill glows under the stars. Pooh and his friends are ecstatic that the 100 Acre Wood has returned back to the way it was and always should have been. Sora says that it is going to stay like this from now on and that he has finally put all of the 100 Acre Wood back together again. Pooh realizes that Sora probably has to leave again and can’t find a way to say goodbye. Sora has become one of Pooh’s closest friends. Sora has an idea.

He rips a page out of Jiminy’s Journal and begins to fold it. Afterwards, he presents Pooh with a folded heart with the name Sora on it. He hands it to Pooh as a way he can always remember him. Sora says that even if they’re not there, all of Pooh’s friends will always be with him in his heart. Sora waves goodbye to Pooh and his friends and leaves the 100 Acre Wood.

Sora obtains the Curaga Spell.

100 ACRE WOOD

Jiminy’s Journal- 100 Acre Wood

Sora returned to the 100 Acre Wood, where he reunited with Winnie the Pooh. Pooh Bear said that he felt like pieces of the 100 Acre Wood were moving away. Sora told Pooh that he would help return the 100 Acre Wood back to normal by collecting all of the Torn Pages and returning them to the book.

After collecting the town pages, the 100 Acre Wood and its residents started returning to the book. Owl’s House had re-emerged, along with Tigger’s and Rabbit’s. All of Pooh’s friends had returned to the book. When Sora returned the final Torn Page, it revealed the Starry Hill. All of Pooh’s friends gathered to say goodbye to Sora. Sora ripped out a piece of Jiminy’s Journal, which had his name on it, folded it into a heart and gave it to Pooh, so that the small bear could always remember him, knowing that he is there in his heart.

After returning to the World Map, you pass through the Gummi Gate and make your way to the next available world.

Dark Rainforest (2nd Visit)

The team arrives in the Jungle Haven, back in their transformed state. Sora is a panther, Donald has been transformed into a monkey and Goofy is turned into an elephant. In the small jungle alcove, away from the harm of the rainforest, there is a save point. Proceed to the save point before proceeding out of the haven, towards the distant sound of a rushing waterfall.

They arrive in the Waterfall Grove. A waterfall is located on one end of the jungle, which empties out into a river. Then entire area is surrounded by high trees, moss and vines dangling from each of them. Mowgli is seen playing with Baloo, while Bagheera looks on and chastises him. Mowgli wants to stay in the jungle now more than ever. Bagheera is still trying to convince him otherwise. They notice the team approach and together, they walk along the River towards the Jungle Crossroads.

Bagheera tells the team Mowgli’s situation, while Baloo and Mowgli lag behind, not noticing. Once they reach the crossroads, a group of monkey-like Heartless attack the team! During the fight, Mowgli is taken away by the Heartless, as they head further into the rainforest. Bagheera points in Mowgli’s direction and he joins the party. Before heading after Mowgli, you can go to the Tall Trees area, which leads to the hidden Treetops area, where a save point is found. Afterwards, proceed back to the Jungle Crossroads and track down the monkeys and Mowgli.

The path leads to the Watering Hole, where Colonel Hathi and his troupe are enjoying themselves. Thankfully, there are no Heartless in the area to scare them. They continue making their way through the rainforest until they reach the Jungle Clearing. Last time, Baloo has accidentally knocked over a tree trunk, blocking access into further parts of the jungle, but now the tree has been removed and the area is accessible. The team proceeds to King Louie’s Temple.

As they enter, the team, Bagheera and Baloo hide behind the crumbled temple, as they eavesdrop on Mowgli and King Louie’s conversation. King Louie states that if Mowgli tells him the secret of how to make fire, he will make it so that Mowgli can stay in the jungle forever. However, Mowgli confesses, since he wasn’t raised by humans, he doesn’t know how to make fire. It’s then that the team notices the several monkey Heartless lurking about the area. This is way too dangerous for Mowgli.

The team rushes in to save Mowgli, who is grabbed by Baloo, while the team and Bagheera run in to fight the Heartless. After the battle, they quickly retreat from the temple and head back into the Jungle Clearing.

Once they arrive in the Jungle Clearing, Mowgli and Baloo tell the team and Bagheera to watch out. Suddenly, a large creature bursts through the trees and prevents any passage. The team realizes that they have to fight through this thing to continue.

-Boss: SLOTH-

This sloth-like creature actually moves very slowly, but does extremely critical attacks. So, it may move slowly, but two bad hits and you’re a goner. So, keep your distance and heal if you’ve been hit.

The best tactic is to always remain behind the creature, so that it cannot attack you dead on. Keep your distance, remain behind the monster at all times and heal whenever you’ve been attacked to ensure that you will win this battle. The monster slowly starts to crumble and dissolve away into the air.

In the Watering Hole, they all recuperate and are reunited with Mowgli and Baloo. Bagheera, now more than ever, says that Mowgli should go to the man village, it’s the only way he will be safe and away from Shere Khan, but Mowgli doesn’t want to hear any of it, as he proceeds back to the Jungle Crossroads.

In the Jungle Crossroads, you’re free to return to the save point in the Treetops; that would be a good idea. Afterwards, meet back up with Mowgli and Baloo at the River. Suddenly, a noise comes from within the deep vegetation of the forest. Shere Khan, the man-eating tiger emerges from the trees and runs to ambush the team!

-Boss: Shere Khan-

Remain locked onto Shere Khan and don’t let this tiger out of your sight. The tiger will charge at you after he lets out a vicious snarl, so be prepared to dodge or evade the attack. Quickly execute one combo attack, but then retreat before Shere Khan has the chance to attack back at you.

The more space you can keep between you and the tiger, the more likely you’ll be able to dodge his fast attacks.

While Shere Khan harshly approaches Mowgli, Sora casts a fire spell, which lights a nearby tree limb. Mowgli grabs the branch and starts waving it towards Shere Khan, who is terrified. Mowgli menacingly approaches the tiger, who retreats back into the depths of the rainforest. With the current threat of Shere Khan gone, Bagheera and Baloo know what they have to do.

On the edge of the Watering Hole, Baloo and Bagheera point Mowgli in the direction of some parted bamboo trees, which lead to the Man Village. Mowgli still says that that he’s hesitant to go in because he doesn’t want to leave them. They promise that they’ll always be here and that he can see them all the time. A girl, Shanti, emerges from the thicket and goes to the water’s edge, to collect some water. Shanti accidentally drops her pot of water, while Mowgli helps her retrieve it. They exchange a glance and Mowgli decides to go to the Man Village.

After Mowgli leaves, Baloo and Bagheera say their goodbyes before returning home to the Waterfall Grove. Upon returning to the world later in the game, you’ll find several treasure chests, along with a save point in the Man Village.

Sora obtains the Thundaga Spell.

Sora obtains the Bare Necessities Keyblade.

Jiminy’s Journal- Dark Rainforest (2nd Visit)

Sora, Donald and Goofy returned to the rainforest, where they reunited with Mowgli, Bagheera and Baloo. Bageera stated that now that Mowgli has met Baloo and learned of his lifestyle, Mowgli wants to stay in the jungle forever, unbeknownst to the various dangers out there. Soon after, a group of Heartless monkeys attack them and take Mowgli away.

After tracking down the Heartless, it is revealed that Mowgli was brought to King Louie, because he wanted to make a deal. King Louie persuaded that if Mowgli could tell him the secret of how to make fire, he would make it so that Mowgli could stay in the jungle forever. However, the team quickly came to Mowgli’s rescue and brought him back to the rainforest.

However, Shere Khan lurked through the jungle and confronted the team. After a viscous battle, Mowgli confronted Shere Khan with a blazing fire, made with Sora’s help. Afterwards, Mowgli was still unsure about going to the Man Village. However, he soon saw a young girl, by the name of Shanti, proceed to retrieve some water from the Watering Hole. That being said, he decided to go to the Man Village. Bagheera and Shere Khan waved goodbye to Mowgli, before returning home.
