He finally lost tonight on Jeopardy after winning $2.5 million. I think it was on purpose.
The clue on final jeopardy was something like:
"These white collar workers only work 4 months out of the year."
The lady up against him bet $4,401 (the exact amount to put her $1 over if Ken lost and bet nothing) and answered with "H&R Block." This was the correct answer.
Ken bet $5,000 something and answered "Fedex." Therefore he lost. I think it was on purpose because of the pure simplicity of the clue and answer and he knows so much else. How could Fedex possibly be the answer??? I think he decided he had won enough (he his by the way religious) and decided the scores were close enough for him to lose on purpose without being incredibly obvious. Can you imagine the pressure winning 73 episodes in a row?!?! He definitely didn't look upset when he won. You should have seen the look of surprise on the lady's face when he lost. She couldn't believe it! I've been watching Jeopardy just to see how far he would actually get!
