He finally lost tonight on Jeopardy after winning $2.5 million. I think it was on purpose.
The clue on final jeopardy was something like:
"These white collar workers only work 4 months out of the year."
The lady up against him bet $4,401 (the exact amount to put her $1 over if Ken lost and bet nothing) and answered with "H&R Block." This was the correct answer.
Ken bet $5,000 something and answered "Fedex." Therefore he lost. I think it was on purpose because of the pure simplicity of the clue and answer and he knows so much else. How could Fedex possibly be the answer??? I think he decided he had won enough (he his by the way religious) and decided the scores were close enough for him to lose on purpose without being incredibly obvious. Can you imagine the pressure winning 73 episodes in a row?!?! He definitely didn't look upset when he won. You should have seen the look of surprise on the lady's face when he lost. She couldn't believe it! I've been watching Jeopardy just to see how far he would actually get!

Well I heard he's a Mormon and giving at least 10% to the church.

Imagine how many trips you could take to Disney World on that amount of money!

I read on cnn that H&R Block has offered to do his taxes free for the rest of his life and that he owes $1.4 million in taxes because of his big win. Wish I had that kind of money

That's over 50%! Holy cow, can that be right?? Man, the federal tax code needs a good noodling.

Well, he's certainly in the right tax bracket now where he'll be seeing a lot more of his money than the rest of us. That's for sure.

I find it pretty interresting that he missed only 25 Daily Double answers during his amazing run and yet missed two last night alone. I dunno...maybe he was just tired

Yet another reason why I think he lost on purpose.
