You know what they say: you get more with sugar than vinegar. Your letter was pure confectionary sugar and was the sweetest thing I have read in a long time. I could absolutely feel your joy and happiness. Thank you for sharing your letter. It made my day.

This made me cry. MSEP is something near and dear to my heart. Like you I'm a youngin' (21) and MSEP is my biggest WDW memory from childhood. I'll be down in the World starting Thursday, we're taking a special trip just to see the parade's return. I hope my experience is as magical as yours.

Just today I was listening to my Disney Box Office Hits CD (love it!) and was listening to a song by Imogen Heap from The Chronicals of Narnia: the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe called Can't Take It In. The beginning lyrics are: "Can't close my eyes, I'm wide awake. Every hair on my body has got a thing for this place. Oh empty my heart! I've got to make room for this feeling. It's so much bigger than me. This couldn't be anymore beautiful - I can't take it in." As the song played, I pictured in my mind walking through the gates to the MK, looking down Main Street and taking that first breathtaking look at that beautiful castle . . . and just broke down in tears!! Reading your letter and description of watching the MSEP gave me that same feeling, and brought those tears once again. Thanks everyone for letting me know I'm not the only one out there that has that unexplainable feeling about WDW. It's so much more than a theme park!!

disney wont get back to you on that letter. my mom sent 3 letters out to disney of how bad their customer service is just a few weeks ago letting them know how bad they are and how they put us in a smoking room when we specifially asked for a non one at cornado springs resort my mom has allergies and my dad is on a breathing machine. she sent the letter even to Mr Iger. so your not going to hear anything back. we just want our money back for the room they gave us for the week 800 dollars.

Calling troll on this one!!! There is no such thing as a smoking room on disney property anymore!!! So maybe you stayed at a spanish themed motel off site where smoking is allowed!!

But besides this junk.....This post was so refreshing and something we all needed to see around here, because there is just way to much negativity!! we complain about every little thing(Myself included!)

Love it! Great letter! Along with everyone else, this made me feel like I was right there! Like you, (I'm 24, almost 25) MSEP is one of my first Disney and childhood memories for that matter and I am so excited to see it again! I'll be there in 12 days (which no doubt will be the longest 12 days of my life!) and I can't wait - your letter put the nail on the door - my brain is in child mode already! Thank you!

Daniel,
Thanks for sharing that, what a great letter! You brought tears to my eyes while reading it and made me get butterflies in my chest for my upcoming visit in Sept.
I am so glad you had such an awesome "child like" experience, may all your future trips be filled with the same magic, it is priceless!:sohappy:

It WAS wonderful Daniel. What a perfect letter for a perfect story! Brought tears to my eyes just reading it and it was even more beautiful because you could share that with your sister. I hope others take notice and write letters of thanks to the Disney Company in the future instead of negativity all the time. Now THAT would put a smile on my face. :)

Ditto!

To the OP - great post, I still get chills when I hear the track to the the MSEP, my dad still has a vinyl of the original recording. Takes me back to me and my kid brother waiting for the parade to start on main street. Thanks for sharing this, Cheers. :D

I loved your letter but most of all I loved the fact that you took the time to write & mail it! So many people today are quick to complain and to "get theirs" but there are few that will actually make the effort to praise! Your letter brought tears to my ears and took me back to our first visit. It was 1997 and our DD was just about 3 and sitting on top her Dad's shoulders to watch the parade. (I think it was the electric light parade back then too) She sat there the entire time gently pulling at Daddy's hair with her eyes glued to magic surrounding her!

Awesome letter, I was sitting here and work and could feel myself bouncing as the baroque hoedown was playing through my head. Just reading your letter took me back to when I was a kid sitting on Main St. waiting for MSEP to start and then being captivated by the lights and music. This could probably be the best answer for anyone who ever asks, why do you keep going back so much. Thanks for sharing and making today just a little bit better!!!

Great letter. Its good to read about a positive experience. I have never had a bad trip caused by CMs or rides. My bad trips are usually caused by who I am there with.
