My wife and I just booked our next vacation to the World. September 4-10, 2010. We took a different approach this year.

We booked a package at the Pop Century to guarantee our vacation - as we feel like we have extra cash (since we both have better paying jobs this time), we will upgrade as needed. Hoping to have some extra cash to spring for the POLY or the CR.

Only 9 months to wait!

We feel the same way. We have been the past 4 years in a row with each one being at a Value (I have been more times - just counting my current family). I think we just want to upgrade for upgrade's sake - to say that we did stay at a different place. If my wife weren't involved in decision making, it would be value each time. I could care less about the size of the bathroom, the style of the sinks, how strong waterflow is from the shower head. :shrug:

I am just excited to be there!

Those first 8 months and 23 days go fast - they just fly by. Then the last 7 take the same amount of time as the first 8 months! We fly out tomorrow, and on Christmas, I wasn't sure this day would ever get here. I ALMOST went to work just to make time go faster than sitting at home doing nothing! :lol:

Good plan on getting something booked. Have a great time.

The stupid thing we did was NOT book the bounceback offer. We were there last September and told ourselves we should go ahead and book it - but we didn't for some reason. With Iger coming out and saying discounts will be going away, I guess we can't bank on free dining in September anymore. I think Free Dining has been available every September for the last decade - it seems.

Next time, I am bringing an extra $200 for the deposit to make sure we do the bounceback.

yeah bounceback offers are really a great deal. But when your there and youve already spent so much money on everything, Its hard to commit to another. But then once you leave and get home you start kicking yourself for not booking it.
