Definitely seems like Jurassic Park will be transformed into Jurassic World in the very near future.
Not to mention that Raptor Encounter itself screams Jurassic World. Wouldn't be surprised if River Adventure goes under in the fall for the Jurassic World retheme that Universal Studios Hollywood got.

This roller coaster already looks amazing and it hasn't even been dressed up yet.

Doesn’t change that it is a lump of steel dropped into the central vista at the same time as Universal is working on a park where each land is physically and visually isolated from the others.
Don't judge it too soon. They haven't painted a mural of vegetation on the side of a warehouse yet.

And it is a BIG hunk of steel. Pics don't do it justice. This thing is thicc.
I kind of like how it is going to frame the Discovery Center when viewing it from across the lagoon.
I thought I would post this pic. Scott Walker over on inside Universal pointed out that, out of context, it looks like a suspended coaster track.

I unapologetically love it. Really nicely frames the discovery centre and a naked coaster is totally cool in my books when it comes to Islands of Adventure. Hand-wavey that Jurassic Park is also an amusement park? Sure.
Much better integrated than Japan's. Looks like it will be quite fun too.
The only thing they need to paint some vegetation on is that Forbidden Journey show building.

As far as the coaster goes I could care less about how themed "Dis" fans want it. These type of coasters are what is missing from the Orlando area.

Based on the some of the original rumors, I thought this was going to be a simple top hat out-n-back. I am blown away with the scale of this thing. Is 5 inversions correct?

I'm surprised at how quickly the track is going in. Every day more sections get added. Wouldn't be surprised to see it all in place by June 30.
