You know, I really like all of the changes. It freshened up the ride without taking away the humor. Did I like Trader Sam? Sure. Will I miss him terribly? Nope. It still felt like the jungle cruise and solved some of the issues that turned people off. Extremely well done at DL. Will the WDW version turn out just as good? Unknown.

Fully agree, based on the videos. As for WDW it looks like some of the gags don't read as well because of the layout. Something that can be fixed in the future.

based on recent photos they've ADDED a bunch of S.E.A. tie-ins and nods, which IMHO is great!

They apparently removed the S.E.A. logo from some of the props in the queue, for some reason.

S.E.A. is supposedly in the upcoming movie. Did they also scrub it from the Disneyland's ride?

Only the SEA logo was removed. Other nods are still there.
