Jungle Cruise closing for lengthy refurbishment late this summer

For all the Kvetching about the AAs & maintenance on this attraction, what matters is the skipper. No amount of TLC/maintenance can make up for a bad skipper.

I quit enjoying Jungle Cruise the day they yelled at my wife because she put her leg over the center seat of the boat in order to sit next to me. Well that and Animal KIngdom Park opened and we got to see "Real" animals on a Safari.

I'm with you. I've hated the ride since they stopped me from swimming with the animatronic elephants. Also, not a fan of the Animal Kingdom, either, since they threw me out for trying to feed the giraffes.

I still don't see what TDO could do to that ride that would improve it much in any way. All the animals will still look fake and the waterfall will fail to impress.
