Man we just got back, we will never go back in June man was it hot and humid We need to pick a much better time to go when is the best time to visit Disney World in your opinions:shrug:
yes I totally agree the heat was crazy and it would rain and then the humidity would just be unbearable. We also had fun but didn't get nearly as much done as I would of hoped, lines were long and the heat just wore us out. I felt bad for our kids. If we go in December is it busy, I also heard Feb was a good time to go. :veryconfu
I'll say this.
I went the first week of June 2009 - lighter crowds, unbearable heat.
I went over Easter in March of 2008 - hugemoungous crowds, perfect weather.
If you made me chose one or the other (Easter or June) I'd go at Easter (despite the crowds) ANY day. It's the weather that's the deciding factor for me!
We can do crowds, as long as there is no heat!
June is hot, there's no denying that. But this June has been especially so. I agree wholeheartedly that the cooler months are better for visiting WDW, but if you've been here during the last couple of weeks, you have not experienced typical weather for this time of year.
My family and I are leaving this weekend. We usually go the last week of August leading up to Labor Day. Last year it was super hot. Does anyone know how it compares to late August? I think I can deal with heat. Its crowds that bother me.
Just returned on the 14th after 7 days in the world. It was hot but managable. We filled our aluminum bottles with ice and rolled them in a towel. This insulated the bottles some but also provided a cool towel to wipe our brow with. A nice personal fan is also good to have as most of the days we were there no wind was blowing. Hey consider where you are, smile and enjoy.
