I am near Nashville and the only business really requiring masks is Starbucks, who also has their dining area closed. All the bigger players such as Home Depot have either removed signage or changed it to a suggestion. My county hasn't had a mask mandate since early April and the moment it dropped so did the signs.
Seems like the plexiglass business hasn't been a hit in TN?

Really, Disney and Uni are the only places that absolutely require a mask. Chipotle doesn’t even care anymore. We go pretty much everywhere without wearing one and nobody cares. The parks should at least allow you to take them off outside.

Where do you live? Because as someone living in Ontario that sounds just utterly liberating!

I called Dollywood up the other week and asked them about their mask policy. Right now they still require them (3 weeks ago at least) except in the water parks obviously. I asked why they do because Tennessee does not have the mask mandate. She said that were Pigeon Forge is that it is the strictest county in Tennessee for all of this. Do you know if this is true? Is Dollywood lifting their mask mandates?

They are in Sevier county which is up in the Northeast corner of the state. I'm not sure how strict they are, but Gov. Lee ended the COVID emergency for the state and said all local governments must end mask mandates by May 15th. If it is truly the county holding them back, they should be gone then.

Well if I can work around the whole Canada/US border ordeal with this thing then Pigeon Forge - which I have always wanted to see - looks mighty good right now.

I hope they open the border for you guys soon!
We lived in Tennessee for several years. We love the Gatlinburg area and the Smokey Mountains. So beautiful. I do hope you get a trip there soon.
