Disney absolutely can blend edutainment with IP. They just blatantly choose not to. Nemo and Journey of Water are good examples like you brought up and I wish they would follow this path more

DABDA Denial Anger Bargaining Depression and Acceptance... but they rarely come in that precise order... As far into the project as it is, I have now reached the "Depression" phase...

It's strange, because I thought I had reached acceptance at one point. The park is dead, it's now officially "more disney," and I just have to live with it. Now seeing picture of this disaster just brings it all back front and center and I'm angry again. Epcot Center was always so different and so special. It's a toughy.

He said the Epcot work was finished so that's why they closed the Epcot Experience. Obviously nothing else to talk about.

I guess even he can't talk up some walkways with water sprayers and he really talked up a generic, but very nice, retail location. Or he's been pointed in a different direction with a new project to hopefully make something interesting.
