You forgot the TM (soon to be R) on Disneyparks...
It'll be completed in a manner of months. How can this not be completed in a matter of months?
..... 4-5 months then to spell it out, how can this not be completed in a few months before spring. It'll be completed in a manner of months.
14 months are months.
Budget for water doesn’t kick in until Q4 2023.How can this not be completed in a matter of months?
It's dozens of tons of cement and water they are prepping for on top of the roof of an underground utilidor. There's at least a dozen water features throughout JoW and all that piping is hidden in bespoke cement works of art. This isn't a suburban backyard rectangular pool with a pumping box in plain sight. And it's part of the new central hub which will have miles of cabling for the in-ground lighting effects. And also a rebuilt Communicore building. There is nothing off the shelf that they can plug and play...... 4-5 months then to spell it out, how can this not be completed in a few months before spring.
This is getting ridiculous!
You mean it's not just a splash pad? It's dozens of tons of cement and water they are prepping for on top of the roof of an underground utilidor. It’s not a splash pad. It’s just uninteresting as one.You mean it's not just a splash pad?

Strong presentation as to what is going on and the reasons for its leisurely construction. But since they are not constructing a major public works project (like a dam or levee system) this whole thing could be moving at a more efficient pace. Damn nice rock work though. It's dozens of tons of cement and water they are prepping for on top of the roof of an underground utilidor. All of that could easily be done in half the time they're planning, though -- especially considering they've already done quite a lot.
Chapek plan: stop giving free water, instant budgetBudget for water doesn’t kick in until Q4 2023.

Why are people still shocked that Disney is moving slow on construction? Like this isn't new, this is the way this has been since the Eisner era. Yeah, it can be done quicker, yeah it should be done quicker, but it's not as if this is the first time that they are shuffling their feet, yet people freak out and claim it's unbelievable. The pearl-clutching at such random things on here really does perplex me sometimes.
I would argue that TRON closed the WDW RR which affect the park experience for many visitors.Leaving the center of a park a construction zone isn't a random thing, and it's certainly not pearl-clutching to be annoyed about it when it's only happening because Disney has decided they're not interested in opening sooner.
It's much different than something like TRON. TRON shouldn't take this long either, but it's in a back corner and doesn't affect the park experience for literally every single visitor.
