We've had talks of refurbishment for this ride for years and years now. It always seems to get cut for something else that they want the money for. I want a better, less kiddie version of Figment, but there are so many other areas in Future World that could use some help. I'd rather they re-do Universe of Energy first and put something new in Wonders of Life Pavilion before they touch this and even then I still really want this ride updated. Future World has been neglected for way too long.
Instead of re-doing Pete's Dragon, which I'm not sure will be a hit (just a gut hunch, but I could be wrong), they should be releasing a Dreamfinder/Figment movie based on the comics.

The Imagination Pavilion would be the perfect place for the first trackless ride at any Disney Park in the US if that ever became a reality.

Marvel as a possible sponsor of the pavilion....? If Guardians really is coming to Epcot....maybe as a new tenant of the Magic Eye? With a ride inspired by the new Figment comics?

It has been heavily suggested by people in the know. Supported by the fact that those insiders have confirmed on these boards that Guardians will no longer find a home at the Studios.

That makes no sense though. Just because something is more than likely not going to HWS doesn't mean it'll come to Epcot.

I'm repeating what has been stated. It has been inferred that Epcot "could" be a potential location for a Guardians of the Galaxy attraction.
