Thanks Mikey. I love the atraction and the idea that it's "inside" the tree.

I know everyone complains about anything Disney does, but never heard anyone actually complain at ITTBAB and it's placement.

The Thing is the Tree of Life represents the circle of life, how about a 3D/4D show discusses how all natures animals fit into the cicle of life with Timon and Pumba. Something like that than actually dropping plastic spiders on you.

When I went on I had to be rushed out of the theatre and given oxygen as it gave me a massive asthma attack caused by shock. I do believe I got between $200-250 for inconvenience

Ever been to The Land pavillion? That attraction exists minus the 3d/4d...

I like ITtbaB, it is very entertaining and well done for a park that was/is light on attractions. Read the warning signs/park maps, they are your friend!

An bugs live in trees, so it does fit the theming. Please let's not turn DAK into 80's Epcot...

Hmmmm.... perhaps its because i'm a just a nostalgic geek who grew up in the 80's, but Epcot used to fill me with awe and wonder and a sense of discovery that i haven't felt from a Disney attraction in years. I don't want to turn DAK into Epcot of course, but i don't think it would hurt to reclaim a bit of its old spirit.

Yes said I would talk to the the broadsheet newspapers when I went back home - so they deceided to just pay I guess.

On another note I have been to the land pavillion it deserves to be there in its current state but it should also be in the AK at the Tree of Life it makes more sense than to have something like bugs where there is higher tendency to have arachnophobia and other bug phobias.

P.S. I was thought it was going to have animatronic spiders that would come down and then go back up - not actual spiders(plastic).

P.S.S Also I can sought of understand why every attraction should be in each lnd at AK. 1)ITTBAB(shouldn't be there full stop), 2)Why is The lion King in CMM when it deserves to be in africa

( I know its TTBAB - its crap a simple 3D show would be more wholly appealing for families)

This coming from the guy who thinks RnR and ToT don't belong in Disney Studios. He also thinks Spash Mountain and Space Mountain should be torn down.

I've yet to hear anything about WDW that he likes.

Herk, I worked at It's Tough To Ba A Bug while on the College Program. We warn everyone about the effects. With the exception of a few scared kids it gets great reviews and often people see it more than once/day when its new to them. Even when the kids are scared and have to leave, the parents apologize and talk about how they enjoyed the show. They are never angry.

Who gave you the $$? If you don't know the name: was it a man or woman, tall or short, what was the hair like, what was the ethnicity? I still have several contacts there in management; I'd like to check out if this happened. When did it happen?

How can plastic spiders be actual spiders?

I think the more pressing question is why would someone go in to this attraction knowing that they are scared of bugs, spiders, etc???....but more importantly, why blame Disney for his/her incompetence???...furthermore, why would Disney pay said person to keep quiet???(if they really did)

I seriously doubt they paid him for this. I know how Disney operates their "claims department" and they wouldn't pay out on something like this, when there is clearly no issue of liability.

I don't think so either, but if they did, I'm disappointed in WDW for giving in to his ridiculous demands.

When I went to go on I asked if the spiders were just on the screen or where they just came out of the screen. They replied that there was a liitle bit about them showing 3D spiders come out of screen and thats it. And thats it.

However regarding your second question I don't really remember that well - and if I knew very well- it has nothing to do with you.

Yes I got paid a little bit of money - how do you not know that the person who told me that there was only animated 3D spiders in the attraction just didn't own up to not owning up to the fact that she didn't say that plastic spiders fell on top of you.

So...the plastic spiders were lowered from the ceiling and you freaked out so bad you had to leave the show? And then you were so freaked out you threatened to tell the papers so Disney gave you (a kid) money?

Nope. I don't buy it.

Nor would I admit to the world that plastic spiders made me leave ITTBAB.
Nor would I be such a baby that I would demand a bribe to keep me from going to the papers.

At what part of the movie do plastic spiders fall on top of you?
AA spiders descend from the cieling a few feet from your head, but what you're describing simply doesn't happen in the attraction.

You're like the woman who tried to sue Disney because a brick fell off the fiberglass Cinderella Castle and hit her in the head. Just quit now, you've lost it man.

Lets get back to the topic headline now shall we ........

P.S. On a serios note I am asthmatic and such any near shocks like that can trigger serious attacks- which are life threatening. I find it kind of sad when a bunch of mindless ideots on the internet are complaining at me for getting compensation when i could of been killed through this sought of attack.

Shame on all of you
