Joffrey's Coffee to replace Nescafe Coffee throughout Disney's Domestic Parks and Resorts

The food service contract is tied to, but separate from, the larger sponsorship deal that Nestle has been winding down over a number of years. There's been friction between Nestle and Coca-Cola, as Coke wanted to introduce coffee products and wanted their tea lines featured. Nestle also wanted to pull back. Joffrey's took advantage and pushed for the contract about 5 years ago knowing that Nestle was pulling out and they were already an operating participant, so this has been a planned changeover for a while now. With Starbucks and Joffrey's, Disney now has both high and lower end coffee choices on property.

I can't believe I just talked about the coffee on property.

I actually appreciate the discussions. I drink coffee on my trips to WDW and it's refreshing knowing that my options have grown. Thanks for the info.

That is too funny, it's just too bad we will lose it after the thread gets cleaned of all the Spiderman nonsense.

I wonder if this was something that Joffrey's foresaw, or were just trying to be forward thinking. I can imagine their coffee carts taking a hit once the Starbucks open up. Which would in theory be offset (to their bottom line at least) by the increased bulk sales to WDW.

OK, I get why so many fanbois don't like girls ... but I have noticed a large amount of fanbois don't drink coffee and/or alcohol. There's gotta be a reason.
For some reason, I never acquired a taste for coffee and alcohol. Now, women on the other hand... that I enjoy!

Wow. Using words like "fanboi", and being blatantly insulting to anyone who doesn't share your point of view. Way to keep up the discourse on this site.

How is it any different than, say, repeatedly belittling (e.g implying paranoia) someone who has concerns about the Magic Band?
Because that's funny. The magic band is just a small variation on technology that has been out there for years. The idea that all of a sudden now Disney is doing something especially nefarious is ridiculous.

The person I commented on here just now was basically insulting the manhood of people who are "fanbois". Plus the comment about people who don't drink coffee or booze.

Paranoia is a very real element that has been entering into the NextGen discussion. 74 basically called all male Disney fans homosexual sissy boys. That is not exactly a valid point of discussion.

I feel it is. I think making fun of people who don't quite understand the Magic Band is just as egregious. I don't think people understand how little people understand RFID. Repeatedly making jokes about "reading your thoughts" doesn't exactly win people over.

I am just saying, if someone is going to call someone else out for insulting others, maybe just check your own house first.

Did you pose a question? I must have missed it in your Spirited anti-WDW1974 rhetoric. I guess with JT and Jake and Wannabe all gone or in hiding, you've decided to take up the mantle of prattling on about me and my Disney hatred (most companies would love to be hated the way I 'hate' Disney). I don't have to answer every question posed to me, but I didn't see any questions, just aspersions on my character.

No, Monty. They haven't. Just because Disney says they've answered them doesn't mean they have.

Oh, and I'm still waiting for you to say one bad thing about Disney ... I don't think you have it in you.
I have had complaints about Disney, I just choose not to overly dwell on them publicly. That doesn't make me a Pixie-Duster, it just means I'm not a whiner. *Shrug*

I certainly have checked my own house. With all the tinfoil I have spread around, there's no way Disney's satellites can see me now.

Good for you. I am so glad you think mental illness is hilarious. I hope you never have to know the pain of seeing someone descend in to it. Stay classy, my friend.

Starbucks is only priced as a high end coffee and I feel confident, especially after hitting their site and having some at DL, that Joffrey's is of the same quality as Starbucks. I go to Starbuck enough to know. It looks as though finding good coffee/espresso will be easier now which is positive. True coffee and espresso snobs wouldn't be found dead at the green mermaid and would never call it high end. That's not me yet thankfully. I still enjoy my grande 3 pump iced white mocha :)

I joke about things about myself as much as joke about anything else. I don't mean to be insulting to people who are truly mentally ill. I will make fun of people who think that Disney has some kind of nefarious plan in regards to us or our children. People who spout off with words like fascist when discussing the new initiative. That's the problem with conspiracy theorists. They make outrageous claims of sinister machinations, then don't have any real evidence to back up their assertions. Just getting the thought out there for the purpose of undermining is their goal.
