Photo update as of Saturday, Dec 6. Not much is new since last month, just additional structural steel and a roof on the frame. The crane in the background has been there all week, driving piles into the shoreline and water on the backside of Paradiso 37. There is a powered pile driver suspended from the crane hook, not visible in this photo.

Photo update as of Thursday, Jan 15. The Hangar has a "boat" in dry dock now! Previous photos (see above Dec 6) have shown a dry dock next to the Hangar. A "boat," built off-site, has been delivered and set into the dry dock. Appears to be an extension for an outdoor bar area, with excellent views of the Landing amphitheatre, where these photos were taken. Note the "boat" comes complete with awning, lights, and even a propeller. And yes, the concept art shows a "boat" in dry dock (with propeller showing) in the same location, with the name "Reggie."

In this second photo, a burlap cloth hides the boat's name. Should be interesting.....

Pretty neat. Was a boat like this ever visible in the concept art for the Hangar?

Photo update as of Tuesday, Feb 3. A sheet metal external wall is being riveted onto The Hangar structure, much like an aircraft skin. The metal is highly polished aluminum-like, but in the photo the reflection of the sky makes it appear bluish. I expect Disney artists will apply paint and texture later so it will resemble the concept art of an old, rusty hangar.
