'Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar' concept art and construction at Disney Springs The Landing

Was at The Landing this afternoon or dinner at The Boathouse. After exiting we walked over to The West Side. I managed a quick photo of The Hangar.

Shingles are being applied and the macro-construction elements appear to be moving along nicely. I still think it is going to be a little while until this one opens.

Interesting side note. Apparently, several patrons in The Boathouse think that The Hangar is another section of The Boathouse that just hasn't opened yet. Our server indicated that the boat that is going to be an outside bar for The Hangar is confusing some of the guests.

A boat for a bar, that's a great idea. I can't wait to see it.

Just saw on other sites that The Hangar is going to have an Indiana Jones theme, with effects along the same lines as those in Trader Sam's. If true, this place just got way more interesting to me.

I was looking forward to experienced a completed Disney Springs, with this announcement my excitement has gone up several notches.

Anything Indiana Jones-related is good by me, this sounds like it will be a brilliant addition.

So basically Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar is just a little way of filing the void of the Adventures Club by giving it a huge story line and adding a little of the Trader Sams interactive concept?! Guess we will see just how "theme" driven it is this fall!
