I still think bartender-controlled effects and shows are likely.
Disney's surely taken notice of the positive reinforcement effect purchase-related effects has on guest spending.
Tbh, they probably need another Sam's like bar to help draw locals away from Sam's. This is larger and will hold much more people. I actually don't think there should ever need to be a wait for this based on size.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a LOT of "enchanted" bars coming to the property in the next couple of years.
I wouldn't be either. I really hope they don't over do it though. As I said on another forum, if they continue to build even just one more of these, i'd love to see it built on the Boardwalk. The Boardwalk has a lot of nightlife that really isn't advertised and i'd wager the majority of guests don't even know about.

Plus, there's what, 4-5 hotels within walking distance of the Boardwalk? Would make a great alternative (and much more convenient) than going to the Poly or DTD.

I they are listing a fall 2015 opening. Anyone get any better of a date, like, for instance around Mid-September for opening?

This is the perfect theme for the business traveler. It's not going to draw a bunch of rowdy 21-25 year-olds, and it will hold just enough nostalgia that the 40 +/- business traveler can strike up a conversation with a stranger about the old IJ movies. I'm sure I'll have a few beers here on my next business trip to Orlando.

As for expanding on the Trader Sam's success, I'm pretty sure the Reggie Boat was in place before TS opened. I think both places draw a similar crowd, and that's who Disney is looking to cater to, but I don't think the theme changed here because of success there.

FINALLY... More places to drink at WDW!!!

Now if they would only open the Beer Pong Outpost in Frontierland....

I'm a big fan of the Indiana Jones theme. The only bummer for me is that it is a bar; I would have loved if this was a sit down restaurant. Not that Disney Springs necessarily needs another restaurant, but still...

I wouldn't be upset. ;)

I could see a fun frontier-type bar at Wilderness Lodge, or something with a voodoo twist at French Quarter maybe.

Or an explorers/African bar at AKL.

I agree with the earlier thought of having something on the Boardwalk though. Don't know what theme, but that would be a location where one could do well, especially with the hotels in walking distance (and potentially for after Epcot closes for the night)

I'm of a different opinion. I like that they took a minor character and have the freedom to expand on him a bit. THAT to me is Imagineering- coming up with a unique and interesting backstory. Compare it to Be Our Guest. Yes, it looks amazing inside. But, there's really no thought to it other than lifting scenes straight from the film and making them three dimensional. And there's little explanation as to why the secretive and reclusive Beast is absolutely A-OK with hordes of strangers coming in.
