I found those characters to look bizarre to me LOL. I didn't believe they were really meeting, but I appreciate things like that, when someone DOES try to do something different. I have my fair share of complaints with WDW, believe me ... but sometimes a battle has to be picked ...

I don't mind the tie-in. Funny how many want unique and then when it's given, it's called slapped together, cheap, etc. Just having it be "The Hangar" is slightly boring. Could have been interesting to me as "just" The Hangar, but I'm not going to fault them for this. I like the tie-in.
It's a odd way to use the IP imo. I'm not going to complain about it being open once it is, but i'd rather something maybe more marvel themed in Disney Springs (since Marvel can't go in the parks) and put something a bit more worthy of the Indiana Jones IP in DHS as a part of the Star Wars project to keep an Indy presence.

True, I guess it is an odd fit for Disney Springs when you really think about it. I can understand that. And a part of it does seem like "let's slap Indy onto it' but I still like the tie-in.

It looks like someone forgot the dormer (in the design or construction).

That caught my eye at first also, but if you look back at earlier construction pictures is appears to be intentional. They couldn't build the dormer until that porch roof was installed. They only recently installed the roof probably because it would have made it hard to put up scaffolding to finish that side of the building. The roofing was put on with a space left for the dormer.

Ahhhhhh....my bad. I thought the shingles on the barrel roof had been completed and then torn back. But, you're right. I looked back at old photos and they were left off intentionally. Good call!

I can see why an old aircraft hangar would have a control tower built on to it, but why a dormer? Or will some entertainment feature operate from up there?

Its a loft conversion maybe? So no loft/mezzanine when it was a hanger but now the conversion means there is a loft which needs a window.
