With the queue and preshow area I think it has a bigger footprint than you think. You would have to ask someone like @marni1971 though.

The building is larger than you think. Twisters show building expanded both ways from Aftermath back to RRR at the rear and half along the interior queue along the front.

I would be more excited if it was as if you are following Fallon while he's plastered at a party. Universal is getting lazy and redundant with it's use of screentertainment based attractions.

I'm a little conflicted. On one hand, it's exciting that it's actually going to be a ride, I thought it would be some sort of interactive show. On the other hand, its yet another 3D motion simulator ride. I don't think the space is even big enough to house anything but something like Despicable Me. So I'd almost rather have had this be a show attraction.

That is just a flying theater that still has rather limited motion like Soarin'.

I couldn't be less interested in this concept so far, and I think it's two steps too far in the 3D attraction department, but at least with it taking place in a single location, it likely won't have the jump cuts that make Soarin' absurdly un-immersive.

Now if they could just find a solution for that whole being boring as heck part.

Its probably for the more extreme CGI stunts. They do that a lot in films where they make CGI versions of the characters.
