Trip Report JenniferS Is Live - 9/7/16 - 9/17/16

Hi, my name is JenniferS, and I am a Disneyholic. I have been accused of being a Pixie Dust snorter. I've been accused of worse, so no biggie.

Once we get home from a Disney trip, I am always in a bit of a funk, and never really up to doing a proper trip report. For those of you who know me, I generally post live over in Chit Chat somewhere. This is my first dedicated live trip report in the actual Trip Report Thread.

The cast:
Me. JenniferS. Just turned 49. Honestly friends, I don't know how that happened. I still feel 27. But, my passport and driver's licence insist I was born in 1967, and I have two 20-something sons, so it must be true.

This is me, on my way to work this morning. All smiles, because this is my last day of work for almost two weeks!

And this is Hubby. He is not on his way to work today, as he has been off work for 6 months. He is 48 years old and this is the first entire summer he has had off since he was 14. In 31 years together, this is only the second time I have seen him with a tan.

Goofy is his favourite character.

And last year, he was obsessed with this over-sized "Stitchie". There was no room in our luggage, but this year, I am determined to buy it for him, and bring it home by any means necessary. Actually, I'm just going to bring our big SouthWest duffel bag, and pay for an extra bag coming home.

This will be our first Disney trip, just the two of us, since 1992!

I just recently had to change the dates of my original trip to POR. due to availability I had to switch to CSR and your TR is making me super excited. At first I wasn't so sure how I would feel about it but from the looks of your stay I'm more excited than I was for POR keep it coming.

The Coronado is so pretty. We are have to stay there again sometime soon. Last time was in 2006.

We have FP's for Soarin', but no matter, I cannot walk by "the Ball" and not ride. I NEVER get sick of that ride.

If they ever got rid of "the Ball" there would be riots down there. I love Spaceship Earth--one of my all-time favorite attractions and an icon for EPCOT (what's left of EPCOT, that is . . .).

It would be on the short list. That and probably CBR.

I've stayed at CB twice and CS 3 or 4 times. I strongly prefer CS.

Has anyone stayed at both POR and CS? We always stay at POR, and the only moderate resort we'd really want to switch to would be CS. We always used to stay at CB, but like POR more. We don't really know that much about CS, so we have never pulled the trigger to switch.

I've stayed at POFQ twice and walked around POR and ate at their food court. I like the CS pool area better and think the whole place looks nicer. It's worth trying. You can always go back to POR.

I agree with the pool area looking a lot nicer at CS. We walked around there once several years ago, but I don't remember it too well. I think the thing that's turned us off the most from CS is their rooms. From pictures/videos I think we'd like the rooms at POR better.

That is the one thing I didn't get when I was in MK - in two days.

In the car. A/C on FULL BLAST! Life is good.

After the fireworks, we headed over to Launch Bay to watch the 10 minute film. If the whole purpose of that film is to get you pumped for all things Star Wars, then mission accomplished.

Hubby and I both said that we need to re-watch Episodes 4-6 when we get home. From what I've heard, nobody really needs to see Episodes 1-3.

I am, however, afraid of Kylo Ren.
I missed the shot of Hubby and KR going toe to toe, staring each other down. Probably because I was hiding behind Hubby.
Kylo tried to circle Hubby to get to me, but Hubby plays good defence.
I'm a little ashamed to say I ran out of there. Literally.
