Folks, it has been a WEIRD day in our neck of the woods......

Too much to go into, except we spent a good part of the evening at my folks' house, because we thought there was a smell of gas in our basement. :dazzle: It dissipated, and we're not sure of what it was or where it was coming from, but the gas company person checked it with his meter and found no evidence of a leak. Mike sat in the driveway in his SUV waiting on them while we went down to my folks - he said the only good part of that was that he finished reading Eclipse.

Anyway, I'm tired and as I said it's been extremely odd round here today....so I will try to stop by tomorrow......good night all!

Hello
Congrats Freddy
Jenny I hope you and your family are fine. I am glad of no gas leak.

SA got some snow on the northside of town but we didn't see any. No it didn't stick and the girls went to school. Yippy.

Hello all and congrats to Unlce Freddie!!

Just wanted to stop by and post my news for the day.....Good News--DH matched for a fellowship :sohappy:.....Bad news--It's here. So I will be stuck in Long Island for another year. :( Two of the guys didn't match at all, so I guess it's better here than no where. I was just really looking forward to getting out of here. At least I know I'll get to spend the next year with our baby.

Morning Everyone!

Happy Friday!

So last night I got home late and when I checked my mail I saw that my 2009 Disney Planning DVD came in. I was so excited I practically ripped the envelope from the seams....and inside....there was NO DVD! Just the planning stuff and a place where the DVD should be.

Wow. Where is everyone?

So! Grades are as follows:

Acting: A
German: A
English: B+ (I probably should have done better, but the teacher was rough)
Organic Chemistry: B+ (Which is great)
Biology: Grade isn't posted yet, BUT I got an 89.5 on the final, so I'm pretty sure the final grade in the class will be an A or an A-. Even without a curve. WHOOOOP.

This quarter was SUCH a success. Better than the 3.17 of last Autumn quarter :lookaroun

I have the hiccups. And I need to write a resume/CV (probably the latter). But I just got $25.50 for selling back my Acting book, so I'm happy!

:lookaroun

I got a 1.83 one semester...

I graduated with a 3.12 though so it's fine... and a 3.6 in my degree... and I have a job now and everything so I just look back and laugh at myself...

but yeah... how about that... a 1.83 :lookaroun

I had two Acturial Math classes... they were Analytical Geometry and Calculus IV, as well as Applied Acturial Statistics and Probabilities II... so I was in over my head...

and honestly Luke... Congrats man... that is simply awesome, I'm happy for ya bud!!!

Anyone hear from Kat on how her DH's surgery went?

Thanks Steph for asking  (and Kristin and Joe). Those that would like an update:

DH made it out of surgery just fine. He went into it with a torn MCL, PCL, and meniscus (cartilage in the knee). The surgeon intended to repair the meniscus if he could, or take it out. He ended up having to take a little more than 50% of the cartilage out. DH will have just a few weeks of PT and sees the doctor again a week from Monday, at which time he'll probably be told that he can drive again. Because the surgeon had to remove some cartilage, DH will have arthritis a lot sooner than normal, causing him to probably have something like a knee replacement in 20-30 years.

I spent the day taking care of him yesterday. He's now just relaxing at home, starting our Christmas shopping online :brick:.

Little cheddar meat loaves, mashed taters, and peas.

How are things going with you today? We have some snowfall coming through at the moment here.

Sounds good!:slurp:

I'm pretty good, except for the fact that I'm STILL sick. Now I have a sore throat.:(

And I only have 2 days of finals, and then I am done for the semester!
