Last night we both went through a roller coaster of emotions about it, but today we've pretty much come to terms with it. We're both nervous, but he's hoping to find another job in the meantime. Of course it doesn't help that RI has the highest unemployment rate in the country.

This will be quite a change.
But maybe it will be a happy one.
Especially if he finds something else he likes.
You never know...

Hey guys, question? We're debating on our last dinner option for our trip in Sept. should we go to Ohana or Whispering Canyon Cafe? We haven't been to either one.

That's what we're telling ourselves. He's young enough and certainly smart enough to find something else, even if it's just part-time.

'Ohana would get my vote. We had a great meal there a few weeks ago. WCC is fun, but I'm personally not a BBQ fan. :hurl:

When are you going in Sept.?

I'm sure he's not angry at you, Jo.
It's the circumstances.

That's understandable. :(

So, we've officially, sort of, decided that Dave is going to retire on February 27.....:lookaroun

Yes.....

The new legislation would take effect April 1 if all goes as planned, so we need a little cushion of time there to make everything is in place. So we'll get back from FL, he'll teach for a week, then he's out of there.

Wow, that is really soon!

Well, it stinks about the whole retirement thing, but keep in mind, he could always substitute teach. It's what a lot of them did around here.
