I posted this yesterday in the Saget thraed...
Earlier today when I left for school, it was about 48 degrees, no wind. I took the outer shell of my winter coat off and just wore the inner shell with a jacket underneath. Then I had to turn the heat in the car off and open a window because I was getting overheated. The snow started to melt and driving was actually pleasant because I could take back roads again.

I came out of school and it had dropped to 28 degrees and the wind was blowing, so it feels like 15 degrees.:cold:

And for that, I blame Meg.

Today, we've dropped to 10 degrees.

I'm typing from under my electric blanket.

Its 30F outside. Supposed to be ice and snow but it just looks soggy. The refinery project hubby is on shut down for the day. ExxonMobil doesn't want anyone climbing around on icy pipe racks & ladders.

Its a good gumbo day if ever I've seen one. Think this will go down famously with some 'shine while we watch Moonshiners tonight. :)
I'm passing my bowl through the screen. :hungry:

Took me six hours to get home... It's an hour during the worst rush hours.
I hear ya. Bless your heart. Last Friday when we got ice here in Houston it took us 8 hrs to drive what's normally a 4+ hr drive to go pick up our son's new-to-him Mustang. Over 3 hrs was just getting across Houston. We watched 1 vehicle swap ends at 50 mph right in front of us then sat at the bottom of an icy overpass watching a pick-up ride the concrete wall towards our rear end. Terrifying day! We're sooooo not equipped for this weather!

-4 to start the day! At least the boys have school and we didn't get any of the snow. If the groundhog doesn't tell me what I want to hear or he lies again like last year I'm going hunting, groundhog stew anyone?
