Trip Report It's Two, Two, TWO Trips in One! *COMPLETED*

Title reference for those of you younger than dirt ~

Got it? Good!

This trip report is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction. This, as you may recognize, is a picture of me and my significant other.

I invite you, if you dare, to follow along on a lengthy adventure that includes three resorts, lots of flowers, exotic food and a Fruber (a what?) Because this report travels directly to.........the Tuvalu Zone.

AH Le Cellier looks amazing! I have always wanted to go there but can never convince anyone else :) My sister Jill and her boyfriend Nick went there a few years ago and had a horrible experience (service, food, etc) and since then no one will go. Plus my Mom isn't a huge meat eater so there's that...

Oh was she right!! So very very right!! This tasted like nothing I'd ever had before ~ such a unique flavor, not too sweet and very refreshing. In my excitement I took a large slurp via the straw, a decision I instantly regretted.....COLD HEADACHE!!!!! :in pain:
YESSSSSS I'm so glad you liked it!! But yeah those brain freezes are a pain...literally. I get them so easily, but I never learn

@Tuvalu, sometimes when I'm on the bus or train commuting from work, my mind wanders off into some odd directions. :p

So, on the way home, I was thinking that we've all met the 4 generations of ladies in your family via your various TRs. Then, the thought crossed my mind that it would be appropriate to come up with names for the family dynasty--to kinda pull everything together. (Oh, I have my moments . . . :D )

I came up with these:

Tuvalu Prime (your mom --the matriarch of the family, and utterly cool woman);
Tuvalu (you);
Tuvalu Too (Em), and,
Tuvalette (the baby).

Monday, con't

We saw this little guy at the bus stop. There was no water anywhere, which begs the question: how did he get here?

Even more perplexing ~ how did this get here?

(For the record this wheelchair remained across from our building's elevator for the rest of our stay.)

Our room had been serviced and new (meaning different) toiletries appeared.

I will neither confirm nor deny that naps were taken during our rest break.

Tuvalu Prime/Mom: "Do they sell coffee on Main Street?"
Me: "Um, yeah....there's a Starbucks." (Do not laugh at your mama.)
TP/Mom: "I think I'd like some coffee."
Me: "Would you like me to take your mug to the food court and get you some?"
TP/Mom: "No. I'll get it on Main Street."

With that, the decision of "what shall we do tonight?" was made. We were going to the Magic Kingdom!

We arrived here around 6:15 pm.

TP/Mom drinks 2-3 cups of black coffee with a splash of milk each day. She has done so every day of my life. She does not care for flavored coffees and could not understand the whole Starbucks phenomenon when it arrived in our area...."Who would pay that much for a cup of coffee?!!"

So I nearly fell down when she walked up to the register and said, "I'll have a s'mores frappuccino."
A WHAT???!!!! :jawdrop:
Me: "I thought you wanted a cup of coffee?"
TP/Mom: "I said I wanted coffee. This will serve as my dinner too."
Um, okay.
TP/Mom: "Aren't you going to order something?"
Said to her daughter who doesn't drink coffee nor coffee flavored beverages, and who only goes into Starbucks when she's with other people....
Me (quickly scanning the menu): "I'll have a strawberry smoothie."
TP/Mom: "I'm paying."
At this moment I fully expected her to pull out a Starbucks gift card ~ after all, I just witnessed a side of my mother I didn't know existed!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Tuvalu proudly presents:
Our dinner

I believe my straw was twice as tall as my cup....would it be too difficult to offer shorter straws for the smaller drink cups?

Since there were no tables to sit at, TP/Mom suggested a bench. (Do not laugh at your mama.)
We ended up sitting on one of the low walls near the hub garden. We people watched as we drank and I secured a 4th FP for us.

:inlove:

We could totally get together and not go to Starbucks anytime! Never had a cuppa cawfee in my life. The closest I'll get is Kahlua in a mudslide (don't taste it) or Black Russian (just makes the vodka taste sweet.)
