I have stark memories of walking through a bug’s land as a 10 year-old when it opened in ‘02. Now it’s gone.

Heimlich's is being donated in pieces to various places in Orange County, including Santa Ana Zoo.
Bugs Land will always have a place of displeasure in my heart. A few years back I did a Mouse Adventures challenge in DCA and one of our "quests" was to ascertain all the weight of the food containers in Flik's Flyers and convert them from ounces to grams (or vice versa, I can't remember) and then plug those numbers into a formula to then spell out a question...
Anyways...it was MUCH harder than we thought and of course happened to be the one quest that slowed us down the most.

So did you get that part of the quest right? What was the question it spelled out?
If that was me, I would have at that point just told the alien abductors, "Can't you just probe me?"
I don't remember. I think we just gave up and turned in an answer so we could progress.
Mouse Adventures are lots of fun, but terribly frustratingly detailed. Last year there was a DL one and one challenge had us running around Fronteirland with only photos of individual letters. We then had to find the corresponding word that the letter came from, write it out, then use other letters from the words to spell out a question which we then had to find the answer to in the land. Really causes you to stop and notice things around the parks.

lol, no. The food container carts in Flik's Flyers. But they kept spinning, so we had to take turns watching for specific ones.

No. It's actually not even a Disney organized event. They allow it to happen, but they don't receive anything from it apart from incidental park admission and regular food purchases.

GOTG:MB is actually the 10 minute wait. The 15 minute wait is for the Red Car Trolley!
