My complaint isn't necessarily the removal of the Bugs Land, its just that they are leaving the area of the park that needs the most help basically untouched when they could place the Marvel land there instead. (I'm talking about the Hollywood area)

From what I read the rumor was they wanted to add Marvel to the courtyard area of HL and expand that area out to where the buses are. This was when the Eastern parking area was in play. I have a feeling once they realized that wasn't going to happen ABL became plan B since they could use ABL and the Timon lot behind TOT because its just a lot more land than what you can do in the courtyard now.

I agree though HL needs a LOT of help. But I rather see them at least try and stick to that land's original theme since its actually about California,, a great complement to BVS and they there is so much potential they can do with it. ABL was VERY limited in what they could do in the first place and why it was a no-brainer to take it out.

Today's the final day for Bug's Land
Buh-bye bugs... I will miss the awesome lightposts.

They should make this area part of Cars Land, build a Cars-themed Autopia-type ride and a demolition-derby bumper car ride based on Cars 3, then demolish Autopia at DL and use that huge chunk of land for something amazing.

Pixar Fest was marketed as “ending September 3rd” and Bugs Land was marketed as “closing September 4th”. The wording got a little confusing and caused everyone to think they both ended on the same day. But yesterday was the last day of Pixar Fest and today is indeed the last operating day of Bugs Land.

It’s my great honor to announce that as of 9pm tonight Jumpin Jellyfish will be the new worst ride at DLR. Let’s hear it for Jumpin Jellyfish guys!

So many DCA attractions leave you wondering, "Why did you build that?" Basically all of Paradise Gardens or whatever it's called now, "Why? Why did you do that?"

I just want an honest answer.

Jumpin' Jellyfish was copied from the plans for Tokyo DisneySea, which has the exact same attraction indoors within Mermaid Lagoon. Of course, it works much better in Mermaid Lagoon as part of an immersive environment filled with other rides that were later copied and rethemed for a bug's land.
