It's Cold

10 degrees right now. Very windy, so the wind chill is well below zero. Disney cravings have been coming strong this past week or so, even before the extreme cold. You can only imagine how much I'm looking forward to June.
You and me both!!

Not so cold as yesterday 20ish this am but what got me was my storm door was frozen shut from the freezing mix yesterday!

My car window wouldn't open yesterday. Today it's a tad warmer, no real improvement though. Hoping that the snow stays away tomorrow night! The forecasts have been very inconsistent with it.

Not only is it cold, but I now have a cold.

As many of you know, I'm a high school senior and I attend public school. Last week, we got a winter mix (typical in MD) and the roads were terribly icy. Now normally, if the roads get this way, they delay school opening by about 2 hours or so. Did they do this? No. So my parents made me take the bus that day instead of driving like I normally do (specifically because I ride a bus with middle schoolers, but that is a whole different story) which was reasonable of them. My bus gets stuck halfway up the hill and we started spinning our wheels. I was in the back and could smell burning rubber. Then we started drifting backwards. It was a good thing cars couldn't get up the hill or we would have been in trouble. So I came in very panicked, which of course triggers my asthma, so I spent my first two classes at the nurse anyway. Just plain ridiculous. I'm ready for winter to be over and done with.

OH my gosh I do hope you feel better! Congrats on your senior year almost ready for the next stage of life!

It's really windy and cold here tonight. No idea how much snow we're supposed to get tonight. Some say 3-5 some say 3-7 some say 10+ inches. No weather station/website has the same amount. Let's just not have any, okay? I have to go grab a sweater since my entire body is cold. There's only one thing I say in a time like this: "Il fait froid."

Freezing rain, sleet, and snow today, with more freezing rain coming. On the bright side, it's supposed to be sunny next week and hit 50 on Wednesday.

Grr. I am so ready for winter to end. And cold season. Especially since my cold is now a double ear infection.

March is in less than a week. Once March hits, there is no snow allowed until late November. Each snowflake that falls shall be fined a minimum of $500. Rain is okay. No thunderstorms though since they scare my dog, and she is a pain when she's scared.

We sometimes get snow in March in MD. I wouldn't mind it. I really don't fee like going to school. Especially since I graduate on May 30 no matter what.

We usually get snow in March in RI, but the ground has usually thawed enough that it doesn't stay around long. I hate snow.
