It's cold!!!

I will take a hot summer day over this winter weather anytime! Months of never being warm is something I am not fond of.

right now my house (RI) is 8 degrees with wind chill of -3...predicting the actual temp goes down to zero. of course not as bad as the people farther up north but almost the whole state cancelled classes today (wimps).

My kids had no school today, and tomorrow has already been cancelled. It's going to be -18 at 7:00am tomorrow morning.

This is when I first got in my car this morning... it is now -18 degrees... with out the wind chill.

Buffalo canceled school today because of the number of complaints that they held classes yesterday when it was just as cold. Lots of parents called their kids in because they didn't want them waiting at the bus stop when it was 0 degrees out in the early morning.

Walked to class (20 minute walk) in the -12 degree weather at 8:00 this morning. I don't even know what the wind chill was.

It's still below zero here in Columbus. Fun times

WGN Television said it got down to -31º here in Aurora, Illinois last night.
That's with out the wind chill factor.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

When I went out last night at 10pm it was -18º and it was difficult to breath without coughing.

How do people way up north in Alaska and Canada live in these temps?

It was down to 5 here with wind chills below zero.. not as cold as some of you guys but the really bad thing is that the water froze! I cannot take a shower and it still isn't fixed! :brick:Just another reason that I need to move to Florida. I hate winter!

I agree with the hating winter. Our furnance stopped working normally last weekend. It was a cold couple of days before it was fixed.
