Great update! My Dad actually met Joe Rhode while he was staying for a convention at Y&BC. My Dad said he was really nice. Dad said he actually follows up on what we say here [In WDW fansites, and boards], and he said the two websites that usually correct in rumors and news, is us [ :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: ], and Screamscape. I feel glad we got recognized by somebody big in the company!!!! :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Great update! That stinks that testing ended the day before you went. Also, have they started working on the Osborne Lights? I cant wait to see them in December.

Yea they have. The whole back part of the backlot seems to be finished.


Lee- Yea, I heard it was to move the cranes as one reason, and the hurricane as the other. I heard the hurricane rumor more than once, so that's what I went with lol.

By the way, the Animation Tour opens to the public on Monday.

Thanks Patrick! By the way, I thought the same thing about Mrs. Incredible. (And I'm a girl...so u know that's a bad sign!) I saw her picture in a Best Buy ad I recieved today and I was like "Wow!" What are they trying to do with that character?!

Great update, Patrick! I really enjoy reading them because it keeps me in touch with the little things I used to be able to view anytime I wanted when I was living down there. Cant wait to get back there in December!!

Great update, Patrick (as always). I think we may have been at the Passholder preview of the new Animation Tour at the same time on the 15th! I noticed a lot of CMs attending the preview when I went in. And to think that all week long I read nametags at MS looking for you!
The characters from the Incredibles were in the areas where you do the voice overs & character matching when I was there as well. Of course, since it is in doors, they could have been there all day. I did not bring my camera on the 15th, so I missed a photo op. Did you go to the part of the tour where you draw a character? We did and learned how to draw Stitch. I agree with you that it is a great re-work of the tour.
I'll be back Nov 12-16 for the grand opening of SGE. Like you, I hung around a good bit, but try as I may, I could not get into a test audience. Oh well, only 25 days until I'm back. Maybe I'll meet you then? :wave:
