Yes to the hidden Mickey restoration, but no to the inflatable - that area has seen enough of Sorcerer Mickey to last a lifetime I think!

I hope the spotlights come back, but we all know Disney so even if they do they'll be around for what, six months tops, before being switched off again.

However, since the highest part of the hat has now been removed there doesn't seem to be a need to bring in the big guns. They can achieve it with what is there already.

Yup, I'll agree with that, but, that strikes me as nearly the same as killing a fly with an AK-47. If they wanted to lift SSE and put some new footings in, that just might do the job.

I wonder why they aren't taking it down the same way it went up. I honestly thought, due to the construction photos, it would be stars and moon first, then ears and hand and finally big blue.
We all know Disney like to repurpose. Maybe it will become the Cozy Cone. Right shape and size!

Was thinking the same thing. Either a Cozy Cone or place it out where the big Christmas tree normally is in the bus/entrance area.

1) That's an amazing camera they have. I want it.
2) Wonder why the top is sitting on a tarp, or 8.
3) Glad the news day is so slow they have time to hover around DHS filming a hat just sitting there partially dismantled.
