"really good" is debatable, seeing they are strangled by D23.This is an on-going battle, even with a really good archives dept.

The archives are actually great, and the archivists are exceptional people doing what they can under an org structure that doesn't really value them. There's a ton of material across multiple archives - there's a group in Burbank, one in Glendale and one in FL. The materials and people who know are there. Whether they are used properly or budgeted is the battle."really good" is debatable, seeing they are strangled by D23.
VERY well said. My post was fairly simplistic, but YES, they're not used properly at all. And that's a huge issue. The archives are are actually great, and the archivists are exceptional people doing what they can under an org structure that doesn't really value them. I think they should make a thematic event of the BAH demise like the old hotels in Vegas.
An ironic approach could be Elsa with a flame thrower. Think of the Ying and Yang, Alpha and Omega conflict.
An in character approach would be to pipe liquid nitrogen to the peak of the hat. Have Elsa cast her spell. Then have a pre-installed pneumatic hammer hit the hat and shatter into millions of pieces. All accompanied with lights and lasers. The resulting vapor from the nitrogen would make for a fabulous backdrop for the lasers.
If true, not a terrible idea, though this seems like a bit of a waste of money.ohhhh and forgot to add that the hat will be moved to in front of the entrance to the park out beside the tram departure area...
I like the idea. The gate area is really bland except for the holidays. But Will they move the tree to in front of the theater.ohhhh and forgot to add that the hat will be moved to in front of the entrance to the park out beside the tram departure area...

SInce they haven't files a permit for the new installation yet, I would have to assume that it's not moving directly to the new location, since they would probably have to have started the prep work by now.
wouldnt it cost more to just destroy the thing part by part (seems very solid) plus to move it to the landfill ?If true, not a terrible idea, though this seems like a bit of a waste of money.
No, because there is little car in demolition. Relocation would require a very careful dismantling and organization of the parts.wouldnt it cost more to just destroy the thing part by part (seems very solid) plus to move it to the landfill ?
Im just telling you what I was told by someone who is working on this. take it how you want haha.
