Is the clock ticking on the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon at the Studios? YES!

"really good" is debatable, seeing they are strangled by D23.
The archives are actually great, and the archivists are exceptional people doing what they can under an org structure that doesn't really value them. There's a ton of material across multiple archives - there's a group in Burbank, one in Glendale and one in FL. The materials and people who know are there. Whether they are used properly or budgeted is the battle.

VERY well said. My post was fairly simplistic, but YES, they're not used properly at all. And that's a huge issue.

I think they should make a thematic event of the BAH demise like the old hotels in Vegas.

An ironic approach could be Elsa with a flame thrower. Think of the Ying and Yang, Alpha and Omega conflict.

An in character approach would be to pipe liquid nitrogen to the peak of the hat. Have Elsa cast her spell. Then have a pre-installed pneumatic hammer hit the hat and shatter into millions of pieces. All accompanied with lights and lasers. The resulting vapor from the nitrogen would make for a fabulous backdrop for the lasers.

That would be AWESOME!!! and worth paying mucho bucks to see!, Sadly TDO does not have the imagination to do something like this.

ohhhh and forgot to add that the hat will be moved to in front of the entrance to the park out beside the tram departure area...
I like the idea. The gate area is really bland except for the holidays. But Will they move the tree to in front of the theater.

SInce they haven't files a permit for the new installation yet, I would have to assume that it's not moving directly to the new location, since they would probably have to have started the prep work by now.

lol Oh I don't know if it will actually go directly there right away... sorry about that.

I doubt Disney will send it to the front of the park. Many people were upset that Mickey and Minnie's houses were being torn down and not relocated and Disney did not care. They busted them apart and scrapped them. I see the same fate for the BAH. (thankfully)

Doesn't the BAH need a lot of work too? I don't mind it being moved to where it should have been, in front of the entrance, but it seems like they're better off just scrapping it.

Of all things they scrap, and they want to save THIS? I mean, it figures, and I don't mind if they do but again, just seems like a waste to me but we know TDO and their priorities.
