"Is the Clock Ticking on a Lack of a Hat?"
You bite your tongue!I think this thread either needs a name change or needs to be shut down...Hat is gone, so the purpose of the title and thread itself have gone stale...
That could be cool when it first opens. Don't know how I would feel if it was permanent.SO do you guys think they will use the GMR as a transition into SWL? I recall images of the original SW premiere in the Chinese Theater. They could choose to recreate that night and use it as a permanent transition into SWL.
Agreed. Might be tacky if it overstayed its welcome, kind of like a similar thing just removed at DHS....Would love it at first, though. That could be cool when it first opens. Don't know how I would feel if it was permanent.

because that would never happen.. right?Yes, It's all fun and games until someone over stays their welcome by let's say... 10 years or more.
Frozen Summer Fun ends 9/8 so not that long until the stage comes down.

oh wait.. the hat..
That's 3-4 months away at minimum though... could be just long enough for them to build a proper stage. But we have the Seasons of the Force coming. It may not be down long....
I dislike that stage in Tomorrow land. They should have left it where it was (at Buzz meet n greet). Maybe there wasn't enough room there for the crowds though. You mean like that Tomorrowland-ruining stage over by Space Mountain?
Bring back the hat! Hey, so it doesn't ruin the view, we could put a new hat ON the Chinese Theater, like it was a person. The spires are the hair, so unfortunately, they'd be covered. But I think the theater would look quite jaunty in the chapeau.

It's like they sat a bunch of preschoolers in a room with paste and scissors.
Yes, I agree totally. I just don't see why they felt the need to move it.That was a full on-theatre and was great. Its where they had "Mickey's Twas the night before Christmas"..... which was awesome.
The old Galaxy Theater became CM parking unfortunately. I don't really see the new stage as a replacement as they have very different uses, and the quality shows from the past no longer have a proper venue. I have to admit my young kids love the Incredibles dance party, but I agree that it is completely misplaced.Yes, I agree totally. I just don't see why they felt the need to move it.
I guess because they can...

the stage as it sits is Temporary in the eyes of building code. it cannot stand for more than 180 days before it must be removed. That's 3-4 months away at minimum though... could be just long enough for them to build a proper stage.
Here's a photo that @StarWarsGirl95 posted today.....
