Is the clock ticking on the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon at the Studios? YES!

The rumoured stage plans could be why the walls will be up another month and a half. Though it seems too short a time in WDW construction days to build a retractable stage, hopefully we'll get some over the wall pictures soon.
Exactly my thoughts. There's no way Disney could get a stage built that quick. LOL

Might seem a little silly, but I wonder what they have in mind for this..

Nice!! Hey I got an App for that.... I mean Map. LOL

Red is MK Monorail Loops
Blue is Epcot Loop
Yellow is NEW Hollywood/Animal Kingdom Express Loop

Wishful thinking I know, and yes I know there is a thread or eight out here somewhere for this.

:banghead: :hilarious: :(

Somewhere in a backstage hallway Iger was heard saying. "Hey at least it's cheaper than MyMagic+"!

I know. I know. Probably gonna catch some heat for this one.
I assume that with those sight lines, YC and BC would renamed Disney's All-Star Sand and Boat Resorts?

Might seem a little silly, but I wonder what they have in mind for this..

End of April for walls to come down!? What about the stage? What about the spires?! Wow.
Those walls and the spires are in no way connected to each other. They mean nothing regarding that topic. In fact, if anything, they need to come down before they can do anything with sprucing up the GMR or replacing the Spires.

I found out some information about the construction walls from a twitter account that I can't link here. The twitter account said the following: "The walls around the former site of the Sorcerer's Hat at DHS will come down in late April according to managers at the park".
The only problem with that is that random managers in the park, are not in a need to know situation. We know as much about the time frame as they do. Which is absolutely nothing! They will come down eventually after whatever they are going to do with that section is complete, and no, we don't know what that will be. The good thing is that we all just love surprises. ;)

All I do know is the permit expires in November and needs to be down in time for the Wine & Dine 1/2 Marathon. I want to take a selfie with no BAH or construction walls in the background. And hopefully nice spires and spotlights working. Ah to dream. And yes that is a wish my heart made.

You know the saying... "If you can dream it, you can do it." Unfortunately, it doesn't read... If you can dream it, THEY can do it. :(

Sure but it was said in "Horizons" so we know it must be true in substance anyway, regardless of who actually said it. To be honest I don't think that I ever thought it was a direct quote from Uncle Walt.
I did back a few years ago. Google image search "If you can dream it, you can do it" and theres a few whole pages that all have Walt's name under the quote. The current generation does for sure, but they didn't see horizons like many people on this site have. I've unfortunately only seen YT ride-throughs..

Go. Everyone needs to go and enjoy that welcome view again. It was so nice walking down Hollywood Boulevard and seeing NO HAT. It was so much more open, even with the walls. I couldn't stop taking pictures. I rode the Great Movie Ride in honor of my visit and the hat being down. (It was busy but not awful; awful was at the Magic Kingdom). Shout out to GMR host Lowell, who was fantastic. Probably one of the best hosts I've ever had. I normally get some clunkers (the cowboy we got was NOT understandable at all).

The ride also looked pretty good. Many animatronics looked very fluid. I'm sure there's still plenty to fix (I get sad seeing the footlight parade not move, but hey, there's bubbles, lol) and effects shut off, but it looked good. They really need to do something with Tarzan though. And the TINY horror section.

I'm not tall enough to reach over the walls and will never ever own a selfie stick (saw many in use along with numerous tablets ... sigh), so sorry gang, no over the wall pictures.

Glad to hear. Thanks for the report. Excited to see the view myself.

The Imagineer, Tom Fitzgerald has often taken credit for the slogan. However it was written by a GE ad agency for GE recruiting back in 1982: http://marciodisneyarchives.blogspot.com/2011/07/if-we-can-dream-it-we-can-do-it.html

It comes out March 15th according to OTPN.

What are the thoughts on this apperently stage? Are we talking a permant view blocker, temporary view blocker or something more like the Castle stage at MK ( What I'm hoping for)?
