NO… I love the Earful Tower & they already took away the Sorcerer Hat… they're killing me!
I really do not think they are serious.NO… I love the Earful Tower & they already took away the Sorcerer Hat… they're killing me!
Thankfully this didn't properly come to fruition as originally planned.Looking back a the past two years they have done a very eclectic set of jobs for Disney....
- Curb removal on Main Street in MK
- Awning install for Open Upon Toy
- Equipment installtion at Textile Services
- Toontown railroad water tower
- One Man's Dream stage construction
- Railing installation along the path to the Contemporary
- Toontown Station lighting instalation.
To name a few.

Actually it did. It was the overactive imaginations of fanbois that decided that the purpose was to remove all the curbs. All it was intended to do was to enlarge the corners and flatten them out to allow Wheelchairs, etc. access to the sidewalk in an easier way. They did that exactly like it was planned. Just two seconds of logical thought would have made it clear that it was not something that was possible. It would require 1) a very steep incline/decline from the store entrances to the street level which would mean 2) one of two things. Either they would have had to lower the buildings to street level or raise the street to building entrance level. Neither of these things made any sense. So what was intended did indeed happen.Thankfully this didn't properly come to fruition as originally planned.
Don't think we'll get that until summer. We still need to see the spires (#SPIREWATCH2015) added back to the theater and the new (smaller and retractable, hopefully) stage built.any pictures from the street of no construction walls?
If I can I'll try to snag some pictures over the wall but I can't guarantee it.
You won't see any change from that angle. Currently the work is below the level of the wall. Reach up and take a picture and we will know if anything is happening.View attachment 86383 was there today.....no change

Similarly, 407 is a toll highway here in Ontario; known to drain every last dollar from your pocket.BTW this currently is page 407 of the thread. When I hear that number I always think..."Just Call 407-W-DISNEY"
I don't know if I should thank you or scorne you for using a selfie stick. I'm leaning towards thanking you for getting OTW photos but then again selfie sticks are like Brazilian tour group flags for everyone else. Humm, I gotta think about this oneWe'll be there Saturday, with a selfie stick for height.
And #TheatrePaintjobWatch2k15 and #SearchlightWatch2015. I guess patience is a good thing? We really need some news on #SpireWatch2015.
I know it's been photographed to death now but I am SO glad I can also add my own picture to the collection. The Theater, as it should be.

I thought the hat came down pretty quickly... but this gap between deconstruction and painting and spires is pretty bad.And #TheatrePaintjobWatch2k15 and #SearchlightWatch2015. I guess patience is a good thing?
