Yeah that photo really brings up quite a few questions. I think the most obvious answer is that they'll use that area, even if temporarily, for some sort of planter area for shrubbery. Maybe some Fantasia topiary to pay homage to the ugly hat.

Maybe they will give it the Poly waterfall treatment and replace the BAH with a Small-AH.

So the current contract/permit is to demolish the BAH. That would mean keeping the surrounding planters, etc. intact and just getting rid of all parts of the hat. I would suspect @danlb_2000 will turn over a new permit before anything new goes in the space.

Maybe they're going to add those lamp posts with speakers and parade lighting from MK's new hub (the ones that everyone's been complaining about) to block the view of the Chinese Theater hahaha
