Is the clock ticking on the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon at the Studios? YES!

Slightly off topic, but... :cautious:
A few years back, when I was CM at our local Disney Store, a friend of our ASM (Assistant Store Mgr.) passed away. A few weeks later, as per the decedents request before he passed, they had a party/memorial in his honor on the property of another friend that had a small lake on it. They BBQ'd, they drank, etc. At the end of the night there was a fireworks display over the lake. The kicker...the dear departed friends ashes, as per his request, NO JOKE, were in the custom made fireworks...!!! :joyfull:

SWEET!

I suppose that once the hat is completely removed the walls will continue to remain in place until the foundation is removed/repaved. The next phase of this project will be interesting to watch as it develops. Will they simply repave the area and add some spaces for flowers, etc.? Or will the oft derided stage be erected right away?

It is interesting considering the rumor out there is a total re-do of this park. Will the theater take over as the center of the park (again) or will something new happen in this space more in line with the future developments of this park? Maybe the next visible changes in this area will simply be the re-branding of the Great Movie Ride with TCM. I have always been under the assumption that these two events will coincide with each other to some degree.

Try an image hosting service (ie. TinyPic) or Google Drive and then just post the image in a post in here referencing the gif.

I figured it out. Thanks for the help. Seems like the url I was pasting into reply was adding a bunch of code that was not needed. Once removed image shows properly.

Made gif of earlier hat destruction video posted here by BrerJon. Video owner appears to be ViewFromTheCheapSeats on youtube.

Tada:happy:

Not sure what happened here... I think my job suddenly started blocking some URL's. What hosting service did you use? I don't see the image in your post.
