Is the clock ticking on the Sorcerer Mickey Hat icon at the Studios? YES!

I wonder if Disney genuinely cares about details like that anymore or if it will be 'just good enough.'

I'd give greater odds to a chain saw turning the palms to mulch and nothing or a token twig replacing the proper sized palms.

I remember all the trees from the Square to Main Street along with the Cherry Trees through the Hub. The trees were all part of the scale that made the Castle 'Pop' in forced perspective. Now there is a Castle without the forced perspective. If Disney gave up caring about those details at the MK I wonder if they will give care to those details at the Studios? Disney just seems to be in a 'anti-tree' mode this century.

Yep. Bill Evans would not be a happy man.

Wait. What is this rumor? I've been trying to keep up but I've missed some things. Please elaborate. :)

I've only recently joined in on the fun, myself.
Looks like it kinda' started towards the end of page 257.
Sorry to not elaborate, but, I'm gonna' finish catchin' up and then hit the hay. :)

It seems to me like the building naturally rusts (on and off)

Opening day photos show no rust and the photos fluctuate throughout the years

A photo that differs from @RAXIP 's images.

It's just something that I think would look better without rust. It's a personal opinion, clearly it is not yours, however it's something to discuss. If you thought everyone should have moved past it why did you even bother retorting? If it didn't matter why not just skip it and move on?
brand new the facade looked washed out and really fake because the colors that were there were to powerful and the colors that were not there ( highlight on the textures from wear) that are there now makes it look more real... I'm allowed to have my opinion too...

The BAH isn't even cold yet (OK, maybe it is ;)) and y'all are arguing...! :arghh:

:D ;)

Excuses. there are currently people ready to rush the the brand new Midway Mania who are in clear view of the hat.

On a more serious note, for those in construction, when work is overnight as it is here, I assume you still work five days out of the week. Will they work tonight or Sunday night?

In NY night work would be Sunday into Monday.
