Nice jab.
Ugh. Is it required to use /sarcasm everytime now?Not meant to be a jab at you, Bolt. I was totally in your side. Just being funny...
As much as I would like to blame Iger for the Hatgate scandal, I'm afraid that good old Michael was in charge when that happened. And it stayed for a while before he (um) retired.then, thats confirmed.. full demo. no transfer or movement.
RIP HAT.
you were loved.. and hated... all because of the dumb position Iger and co decided to put you.
So the hat is coming down but they've taken the spire off the Chinese Theatre... and no one noticed?
We're going to get so many "look how ugly it is without the hat" posts if they don't put it back before the hat comes down.

Maybe they're banking on people being "Yetified" and not even noticing the spire gone.
The spires haven't been on the building for quite some time. If I had to guess I would say at least 5 years. I know that the one that retracted for Sorcery in the Sky had a major failure years ago and if memory serves me correctly they removed them all after.Wasn't it established earlier that the details such as the spires needed refinishing to being back their shine? My bet is that is underway.
The theater is still ugly with or without those spires. Personal opinion, but then I'm a bit biased against huge pointy monstrosities.
I would hope that with the theater being so visible again, the spires will be added back. We'll see though.
google maps is behind as the hat is behind walls, also don't they take photos of the place for this like every 5 months or something? If so then this picture isn't worth a thousand words.
I think it was a joke.
Definitely was.Could have been.
True.I know.

Sounds like the lift broke. I wonder how hard it would be to fix that...The spires haven't been on the building for quite some time. If I had to guess I would say at least 5 years. A food venue...With the major work coming for the studios, are there other possible "theaters" that could replace what's there now? The Chinese theatre has kind of lost its sparkle to me, but what could they retheme it to?
False.
