I only play Galaga, Pacman, and Centipede.
Oh, ok. I totally respect that.

Dude, who are you!?! What 19 (almost 20) yr old doesn't play any current video game system or even a game on their phone?

With all your recent posts, are you a reincarnated version of Archie Bunker? :p:cool:

I know I've posted this before for other people on here....but I think of this sketch on a daily basis with some of the conversations here.

Video games are stupid.
Hope you're trolling, TROR. :D That's like saying "Movies are stupid." Sure, some video games are stupid and some are worse than stupid. But many are wonderful and some are masterpieces of storytelling and entertainment. And some are as much fun as an E-ticket Disney ride (Mario Kart 8). :)
And the Kingdom Hearts franchise--despite a storyline that's become near-incomprehensible over the last few installments--is absolutely brilliant and the single best thing Disney's ever been involved with in interactive entertainment.

No one knows what Kingdom Hearts is. If we're now building lands based on things with cult followings, where's the Return to Oz Land.
Here's the thing: KH is hugely popular with the age 12-40 gamer market. It's also a flexible story that can incorporate any Disney character and franchise past, present, and future. It can always be relevant. Any Disney character can appear there--all it takes is a slight steam-punk makeover.

The land could be visually captivating enough to pull people in, and the dark ride is all it would take to explain the story (in a nutshell, Disney good guys are helping a kid named Sora save the universe from Disney bad guys who have teamed up with an even greater evil).
(EDIT) From what I understand, though, the rights issues between Disney and Square/Enix are such a tangled maze that something like this would probably never really happen anyhoo...

Monday's Disneyland update on MiceChat had several concerns and pics posted about the current state of the Nemo Submarine ride. Among them:

- Paint and rust damage on the subs' exterior
- "Dirty and worn" interiors
- Sun bleached coral scenery and figures
- Dim projectors (some "you can barely see")
- Peeling paint and algae build up
- Angler Fish still broken

I know many here don't like the Nemo overlay, but the ride should not be in this shape. It's as much a key part of Disneyland as the Matterhorn or Castle IMO.

Wasn't this ride drained for months just to save some money a couple of years ago? I feel like there's always going to be some mid-level or senior TDA executive who wants to get rid of this ride altogether and once Tony Baxter is gone there won't be anyone within Disney to advocate for its continued existence. :(

Sigh. Adios Submarinos.

Yeah, there's similar circumstances with super mario rpg as well. Until the day square-enix says to nintendo, "hey we want to make super mario rpg 2 with you", it will never happen.

Why is it every time the Subs look dingy or go down for referb everyone is calling it DOA? If we did that for Splash Mountain, it would have closed twenty years ago.
Splash mountain is a popular e-ticket.
Nemo is a somewhat popular maybe c or d ticket, at best.
