Is it impossible to find a room for next month?

Just got home!
We just got home from The World 15 minutes ago (Can you believe I am already checking this website???). This was a fairly last minute trip, we booked about 2 weeks ago and somehow still got the annual passholder rate, so I say, yes, it is possible, depending on your days of the week. We stayed just 3 nights, Tues - Sun, at POFQ. Good luck with finding a resort, and good luck with the surgery!

I can't find anything for an entire week, but I was able to find rooms for 3 nights at Saratoga Springs, Dolphin, Grand Floridian and Old Key West... Now to decide how big of a hit I want my wallet to take :fork:

Are they all the same 3 nights? Maybe you can take a longer trip by splitting it up, 3 nights at one resort, a few nights somewhere else. :shrug:

I booked for September but when I tried to book on Disney.com they had nothing available but I went to other sites and they had availability.
Have you tried sites like travelocity, expedia, AAA?

Definitely check with Kingdom Konsultants. We had a reservation for last summer booked months in advance. Three weeks before we were to leave we decided to change resorts and KK was able to do it for us. Not only that, we got a better rate than was originally quoted for the new resort than the quote we were given months earlier. (We wanted to stay at the Poly and when we checked the rates in March for an August vacation, we deemed it too pricey and opted for the Contemporary. Three weeks before the trip, we decided to check if there were rooms available at the Poly, there were and it was cheaper than the March price.)

I don't know when in the month you were looking for, but if it is not too late it looks like Aug. 19-25, there are rooms at the All Star Sports, All Star Music, and Carribean Beach. There may be more too, but I know these 3 for sure, according to Disney's online reservations search.

Well, I only have one week to work with and that is August 5th - 12th. I was only able to find rooms for the 9th - 12th. Any days before that and it came up with zero rooms, regardless of resort class. Pretty crazy! I'm off to the hospital on the 13th, so I really can't book later. I decided to just hold off and book for my birthday in October. Less crowds and I should be feeling fine by then.

I'm having heart surgery next month and I would like to stay on property (something I've never been able to do before.) It's a spur of the moment thing and I can't find anything available
Think it's possible?
You did not say what dates you wanted or how many nights, but this is what I found for a 3 night stay coming in on a Friday:
8/3 - GF - Poly - OKW = deluxe
Riverside & French Quarter = moderate
ASM & Pop = Value
8/13 - OKW & Saratoga = Vacation Club
8/17 - Poly & Cont = Deluxe
Coronado = Moderate
ASM & Pop = Value
8/24 - WL - Boardwalk & Saratoge = Deluxe & DVC
ASM & ______ = Value
These were all available for a 3 night stay as of 10:45 this morning.
